Depending on your situation and needs (and place on the list if waiting for an assessment or professional first contact) this is free to some from either district nursing or OT (Occupational Therapy). I appreciate that unless your known the waiting time for a new referral is likely months at best.

If you’re part of the BCC then the waiting is around 3 months for an assessment

It's only a frame and seat - no actual toilet part (unless your putting a bucket under it XD)

It is to some and only when it is assessed as a need once a needs assessment has been done by one of the multi-disciplinary teams. You can't just phone up and ask for one

Ideal for the Man cave as my daughter spends most of her time at home in the bathroom

You will still need a bowl/commode - this is only a frame and seat. I appreciate your joking, but just incase someone is not aware and is going to buy it as a toilet

The NHS gives these out like confetti and won't take them back for hygiene reasons. My mum has a couple of 'em in her garage after her leg operation.

You can call for them to pick it up. There is a contact number underneath them. I am an Occupational therapist and we issue these everyday

I Have one i think they are very good ,mine was supplied free by Greater Manchester City Council Adapdations and mobility department.
why i think they are good if you have a wide torso it fits the width of your body perfectly compared to others were they get trapped on your hips and makes it difficult when cleaning yourself.
