    Maybe I'm missing something, but where does it say that you'll avoid the 2023 price increase? Uswitch display a 'No 2023 price rise' label on deals where the price rise doesn't apply, but it doesn't appear against any of the O2 sim-only tarriffs....

    USwitch aren’t keeping this up to date. Vodafone plans don’t show this either. But they’ve confirmed any plans since the 24th of February are exempt. TalkMobile have frozen prices again for another year. But neither of these brands show this label either.

    £6.99 A month via Uswitch for 6GB Data on a 12 month contract (doubles to 12GB once Volt is applied)

    Virgin Mobile also have a 5GB SIM for £6 a month, or 15GB for £7 a month with the first 3 months half price. Both 30 day contracts. You won't get Volt immediately, but they are about to close Virgin Mobile and migrate everyone to the o2 brand. As soon as you are moved you'll get the Volt benefits, while not being tied in to a full year's contract meaning you can leave after the rewards are applied.

    I guess the other option, if you don't intend to keep the SIM but just want to get the speed boost ASAP, would be to sign up for the 30 day SIM on the o2 website directly. But that's £20 for a 30 day SIM with only 1GB.

    Looking at cellmapper, I see signal is very poor in my location for o2. Definitely recommend having a look on there and see what covers your location best. Best ones for me are EE and Three. Can’t wait to come off o2

    Order this sim on Wednesday and it arrived yesterday, switched and contacted o2 webchat for Volt. Within 2 hours got 100GB instead of 50 and also my M250 virgin broadband upgraded to M350.

    Be warned O2 speeds are dire! I moved from EE to this deal and I deeply regret it. The best data is mostly H/H+, then Edge and occasionally 4G. I know Edge is slow but whenever I see 4G it's not much faster than Edge.

    Network is a little slower than competition but they are the cheapest way to get esim, wifi calling, visual voicemail and free roaming.

    Just ( 21.00 3/April) managed to get the deal.
    Sim only, £12 pm, for 50 gig. ( Up to 100 with Volt). Had to go in and out of 'My 0²' a couple of times, but then got through the checklist and successfully got it, with 3 months Disney+.

    Just noticed my sim only 02 contract ends today. Been trying to update to this, but the 0² system won't accept it. They say there is a fault between the two companies data?
    Say it 'Should' be sorted by 6th April, but the deal will be gone by then! 😡 (edited)
