£3.99 per 50L bag, or 4 for £10. Unsure if this is national, but seems like a fantastic deal for 200L of compost.
Found at Hall Road Range, Norwich.

This is cheap, I would agree with that. However, I will also say that I have never used such poor quality compost (I'm sad to say). When using a small amount to top-dress a lawn, it killed half of the turf. I've also never encountered quite so much debris in compost before.
Not voting either way, but wanted to flag as it would appear others have had similar poor experiences.

Good deal. Same compost at Homebase but 10 for £30 there.

I bought literally 40 bags of this stuff last weekend. The quality isn't as bad as I was expecting but there is absolutely no way it's 50l per bag. I should've needed 20 to fill my raised bed according to dimensions - ended up using 32.

I'm glad I read this. I bought a decent quantity too and had the same experience. I bought a few other 50l bags of a different brand and they felt bigger and heavier. Glad I wasn't imagining it!

Awful stuff reason it’s usually the cheapest of the cheap

I've bought 200 bags for dressing a lawn and filling up some very large planters, quality wasn't as bad as people have said, I've opened about 150 of them and have only found a few bags with plastic in and one with a bit of glass. I'm pretty sure this is compost from composted household green bins so may differ from area to area. It does dry off and form a crust on our planters but underneath retains water ok. It does absolutely stink though - I suspect this is due to how wet it is in the bag. (edited)

Let me know how you get on with the planters. Been a couple weeks since I filled some with them and noticing more plastic and the plants aren't doing as well as I'd hoped. Don't think I'll be buying again, on the look out for another deal though as I need around ~1800 litres more.
