Thanks OP for the heads up. Trouble with Lidl you can't order click and collect, and there is no guarantee any product they advertise for 15th will be in the store when you arrive?
Nevertheless I will probably end up buying some, if they are there! You can never have too many drills.

I live near a Lidl, so go in quite frequently. The last time they had these drill bit sets in, they were on the shelves for quite a while. Some of the DIY stuff gets snapped up very quickly (e.g. the long sash clamps they had last year were all gone the afternoon of them going on the shelves), but some stuff isn't so popular. (edited)

Is the 5 piece in the first picture a drill and threader? Not seen a pattern like that before. Can see a counter sink, hole, bevel, and normal drills, but what is the first? (edited)

I think they are the drill/saw bits, drill in then push sideways to saw a long hole, had a similar one befor and it didn't really like being pushed sideways so wouldn't bother again unless it was a top quality brand.

I was just using the step bit I bought from Lidl previously for the first time this evening to widen a hole in 5mm thick steel. Very pleased with the result- it cut through it easily. (edited)
