    Good deal for a £5'er for sure, but my 80 year old step mum had a Doro phone and hated it, and was appalled at the customer service, when she was having issues with it, especially as the phones are aimed at the elderly.

    I gave her my old Mi A2 Lite and she much preferred that.

    Do these qualify for trading in at Currys when they do their deals a few times per year? Not sure if it counts as a smartphone or not being as it has wifi and Facebook, but presumably no app store.

    How does whatsapp and other apps work without touchscreen? And typing via the keypad (three presses for the third alphabet) would be torturous for any elderley (or young) person !

    Why do you need a touchscreen to make those things work? We managed before and this uses a d-pad like then. I don't know but it may also have t3 text input, but some people like to press the keypad multiple times! (edited)
