Have zero experience of these virtual headset things..

    Is this a good one?

Does it come with FREE games? Or how are games added to it?

    Thanks

I have this and its excellent - would reccomend it to anyone who wants to try VR.
Works well in standalone mode and hooked up to my PC.

Wireless connection to pc being a bit iffy is what put me off this unfortunately. (edited)

I have a quest 2 can anyone with experience of both comment in terms of software availability? Quest has a lot and developer marketplace, but this looks like a more comfortable/better resolution...

You pretty much understand the differences. I wouldn't get the Pico over the Quest if you are only using it as a standalone headset - for the reasons you mention and that the Pico's chip can't make good use of the resolution of the lenses anyway. If you are using them with a PC, then the Pico is better, but is probably not a huge upgrade
