Do you get the 10 quid argos voucher for spending over 100 too?

I picked up a Go just to try one out really. VR is really rather amazing, I have been incredibly impressed.

Same price at Oculus.com and with a 10% referral code you could get it for £314

No market for the £200 Go XD less for the £400 Quest (lol) . Oculus is committed more than any other company to VR both in hardware and software, no doubt a Rift 2 will be announced before long but tech hasn't advanced that much since the original Rift. It wouldn't be wise to do what HTC did with the Vive Pro. I owned the Rift for a year before buying the Samsung Odyssey (Original) and although the screen is much nicer due to the improved resolution and amoled panels it isn't that different.

They want first bring people to VR, and more mainstream and than hits desktops again. People complain about Var is expensive (yea, new phones cost more and still do a basics things for that price). Just look how much cost full kit of Pimax

Gigabyte AMD Radeon RX 580 8GB Gaming MI Mining Graphics Card + Scan gaming headset £203.99 @ Scan

First deal posted so be kind :) Seems a good price, even without the bundled in headset.

I meant it’s not terrible but yes, you are right.

Not a great price, I picked up a new one of these for £155 a couple of weeks ago with an eBay discount.code.

Its not a good price for one either, plenty about at £170ish recently

Mining Edition (lol) . Good luck selling those in this climate, MI cards have short warranty too from what I know. These cards also have terrible fans. Shame as not a bad price for 8GB RX 580...

Defo worth reporting as false advertising, I'll do the same if that haven't a clue when I collect my order in the week

Yeah, in both places, still no clue

Did you show them the website info? I'd message Argos directly as that's false advertising!

There is no Fornite magazine, neither shop staff nor CS have a clue what it is and where to get it.

I bought a pair, working fine, no complaints from me. Would recommend

I'm actually pleased to hear this as I've bought for my son and would prefer that he's not able to turn them up too loud (y)

You would do. You need a mice and audio in splitter. The cable length wouldn't be long enough if your tower is on the floor.

Just picked my pair up. Max volume is pretty low on these. The feel and quality is great. Defo worth the 12£, maybe not the full price of 30,. Playing GTA on max volume resulted in no audio leak so people around me can't hear any gaming sound. Cable length is the same as iPhone earphones.

I’ve just bought this and for the money this is spot on for the kids as they get through many headsets of eBay etc and I never send back. At least I can take this back to Argos for replacement if this one gets damaged

For the PC do you need to buy an extra adapter to split the mic and audio on these?

My wife uses this because it's lightweight. They're amazing. Really are. Highly recommend them and Logitech are a great brand.

I toggled one star to have a look and it looks like a lot of them relate to the lesser H600. Not overly worried as if it’s crap or breaks it can go back to Amazon

Pretty much 25% of reviews are 1 or 2 stars...? :/

Cheers that's good to know

Thanks ! I'm installing Epic now- looks like you can grab the free game and then uninstall Epic :)

Personally I've been playing seated stuff. I love Rez, Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally, Everspace, Project Cars 2. I use a HOTAS for the flying games and a wheel for the racing games. Amazing in VR. I'm keen to try thumper in VR (waiting for a sale) and polynomial 2 as well. I'm keen to try Pavlov and Beat Saber but I don't have a lot of room where my PC is. Subnautica is free at the moment if you have the Epic store but I haven't tried that yet.

I reckon Superhot VR must be incredible but any games you reckommend

Got mine for £150 on black Friday, haven't played anything that isn't in VR since. Elite Dangerous is superb, Rez is sublime

Amazing headset for this price. A lot of people on here got it for £109 (which was so cheap) REALLY easy to setup.. took me around 5 minutes to get it all working. Only thing is the tracking since the sensors are in the headset it can feel a bit eh sometimes but it all works fantastic and works well with all the VR games (Superhot VR is so much)

i have the wireless version and those are awesome. I can only assume that these are great as well.Heat from me!

Amazon shows 2019 version for £299 apart from being half price, what are the differences?

Got one when it first came out well worth it at full price great find

Including the gamedac amplifier this is an absolute bargain. (y)

Absolute bargain at this price.

I know the modern way is to go look, touch, use in a shop then buy online. But for a few pounds more than ecommerce equivalent , I'd rather just buy an item like this from the shop. Let's see how easy it becomes to return anything (once opened) from online shops when all the High Street shops have gone.

Would never advocate PC World Currys over Amazon, see what returns are like after 6 months.

£110 in PC world without a code and you can go touch feel, return easy etc

These are virtual 7.1 surround sound, they've been around for years, some better than others at their implementation. But you can get actual true 7.1 Headsets, I think Asus make one, and I believe Tritton used to as well.

TRUE 7.1 each can has 1 Front, 1 Rear, 1 Surround, 1 Centre & 1 Sub Driver. Virtual works from software and some are very very impressive. Regardless this headset is very well reviewed.

Lol already got the hyperx cloud and Corsair HS70, would of definitely picked these up and gave them to my dad for Christmas 😁 he watches lots of movies on his tablet with earphones and complains that they don't block out much noise

The geese are strong with this one!

I had that with another headset with my old PC, it was the motherboards onboard sound not being shielded correctly, happens on other devices too sometimes. I switched to a USB sound card and my issue went away.

Be good if somewhere could price match and we were actually able to collect or get it delivered :)

"HyperX CloudX Pro" The marketing department clearly had more than just a hand in naming this device. (y)

Nah I prefer the one ear only headsets over the the full double ear ones so this is perfect for me!

One ear only. Mentioned this on another thread for a single ear phone headset. If you're serious about gaming get a half decent one. I'd have a cheap stereo one over this.

Been looking for a replacement headset for a while now, thanks! Gotta be worth a shot at £6.99 (y)

Logitech G433 Wired Gaming Headset Black at Amazon for £57.99
Found 10th DecFound 10th Dec
Spotted the black version of these from amazon at £57.99, was previously at £74.95. Camo is at £64.99 whilst red/blue are at £74.95.

Self awareness is a rare, yet heavily under rated, quality. ;)

Maybe someone has both a pc and console? Maybe someone just wants a good looking set? Maybe we're spending too much mental effort on the comments section of this post.

Why not get a cheaper pair just for stereo then? You're paying extra for 7.1 on PC.

But they still do work and are a great set for someone not bothered about 7.1

It does but can't carry 7.1 from anything apart from a pc

Worth a punt for the space VR.

I just installed it and configured my HOTAS. Looks great in my Lenovo Explorer.
