No , many others reported the exact same issues

I mean you got faulty headset. Of course it's not worth it. It's broken

Bought these from stockmustgo and returned..horrible horrible headset. Just constant interference..used the xbox one wireless adapter for PC too. Steelseries recommended disabling 2.4ghz, 5ghz etc on my router lol! (Still made no difference) with Bluetooth on two different tvs the headset would completely cut out. Sound quality? Very slighty better than my hyperx cloud alpha My corsair HS70 don't cut out at all, I've never had a single issue with the wireless. Wanted to upgrade as the sound quality isn't to great on those. Also..I paid £88. Still not worth it

I've had both this headset and the Astro A50. I returned the Arctis 9X due to a fault (ear cup cracked). Here's my personal pros and cons: Arctis pros: 1. I found it easy to customise the EQ and get the sound I wanted to play warzone (via pc software) 2. Very comfortable due to the elastic headband 3. Mic quality was good 4. Can connect phone via Bluetooth to play music whilst hearing xbox sound Cons: 1. Build quality not great (plastic). As mentioned, ear cup developed a crack, which after a few weeks of use got bigger to the point it was unwearable 2. Cannot buy spare parts to fix it yourself 3. I found my set cut out intermittently (pre crack) 4. Customer service non-existent, however Curry's PC World were fab in refunding no questions asked Compared with the Astro's... I find the Astro's a little less comfortable, and I did have some people comment on the mic quality to start with. It doesn't have the ability to connect a phone to it. However build quality seems much better with a metal headband, also comes with charging stand and has dolby atmos capability. Hope this helps someone (y)

Do these sound any better than the 7x ? I tried those recently and thought they sounded terrible. I am currently using Astro A50 gen 3

thanks for this. was looking to get this for my son for PS4 and XBOX but guess it will be quite poor over the 3.5 jack

Not sure about heating your ears only got it today. The clamp force is quite week so should be fine.

Mic is decent, no boom mic but you can tweek it in the software and sounds clear enough

How good is the mic? Does it heat your ears for prolonged use? PS. Never mind. Just ordered to use for work calls.

Nice. Thanks for that mate

Ah, yeah fair point Might be worth turning 3d audio off at a system level and enabling the in-game virtual surround sound. That apparantly sounds clearer and better

The selling point is that it supports 3d audio without having to be plugged into the controller. I hate wires myself

Not tried these on so my opinion isn’t worth jack but they look uncomfortable. Been playing Resident Evil with my XM3’s and I’m not particularly impressed with 3D audio so far. Maybe I bought into the hype and my expectations were too high?

Brilliant, really appreciate the info, thanks!

It's a setting that you can toggle on in the OS. I recommend leaving it off for whenever you're playing a game that doesn't support it. I imagine in a future update, Sony will try to have it seamlessly switch between 3d on and off depending on whether a game supports it.

At £17.99 I'll bite. I've ordered for use on the PS4/5 and XBOX One. Delivery in 3-5 days, so fingers crossed.

These look interesting build-quality wise, as they're using the same mould/build style as the pricier HyperX Cloud headsets (presumably the same factory), so could be promising. I have a HyperX Cloud II and the sound and build is excellent. Would love to see a review of these, as they look good for the money

Any good?
