I think what may have happened is after clicking ‘Get deal’ link and arriving on Udemy course page the coupon wasn’t automatically added as it has been for hundreds of other free courses. I clicked ‘Buy course’ wrongly assuming the coupon had already been applied but when I got to the next screen noticed the price was £19.99. That’s when I revisited this deal thread and copied the code then applied it on the Udemy course page. That may have been why it took multiple tries to register properly before reducing the course cost to free?
