Whats the best way to utilise it?
You can get gift cards for Asda, Morrisons directly, and even Sainsbury's through All Access.
And yes, it's literally free money. Plus the cashback for buying the gift card as standard, I'm saving £2.58 with each £10 gift card I buy when this offer pops up. It's awesome
This would be okay for a purchase of multiple item baskets as long as the purchase price is £5 or more

You can work out the reliable retailers from others and reliably get the £2 everytime. And failing that just go for a TopGiftCard.
We felt it better to be proactive on this. We know that when purchases move super fast from confirmed to payable, this has a slight knock on effect with bonuses not quite progressing as quickly as they should. Don't worry, these will definitely progress, it will take a max of 6 days after the transaction itself has gone payable to do so.
We are working behind the scenes to get this sorted in the long term as we know it's important that the bonus progresses at the same speed as the purchase itself.

You can get a £5 Asda gift card.
FYI Wickes is terrible at paying out by my experience, I've had several random declines so I would recommend NOT using them for any bonus like this. TopGiftCard is very safe but I am happy to use others like eBay, Waitrose, Pets at Home and a few others as I've never had a decline from any of them other than when I've cancelled the order.

Once you get this card you buy a Sainsburys gift card with the credit, it’s a bit of a faff but you end up with £10 Sainsburys gift card for under £7.50 once cashback is taken into account
For example once tracked, a £5 asda gift card will only cost you £2.92 I believe. As you get cashback for the gift card and an additional £2.
I build up the asda ones for Christmas
