With the return of popular features and introduction of new elements, survival horror has never been so intense.

Decent Price. The new dlc has dropped too. Resident Evil has always been an action horror game with monsters, bosses and zombies.

Resident Evil 4 is guns blazing as much as every other Resident Evil game. The new remake has Wesker in which I'm finally glad he's back in the fold as he is the main villain of the series.

I'm hoping Resident Evil 9, if it comes won't be a another remake or rehash of RE7 and it is a genuine plot sequel.

If you want true horror then play it in PSVR2.

    Two reasons stopping me

    1) Bought the PSVR, must've played it less than a handful of times, bought an Oculus, played it less than 5 times.
    2) It costs more than a PS5!

I only played RE7 and Until Dawn on the original, good experience, but the screendoor effect and low res was rubbish. This seems like a substantial upgrade mind.

Far too scary for me, I have to have the lights on playing Animal Crossing.

I've been looking for a new game for ages, but loathe to pay new game prices, looking longingly at the expensive new games ha

I won't pay more than £20 nowadays. Especially with game pass and ps plus, no need!

Unfortunately I didn't enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed Resi Evil 7. This one went full on action horror, which is fine if that's what you're looking for, but it didn't feel like an RE title, there is THAT section in the game (those who have played it will know what I'm talking about) but apart from that, it's just pew pew pew all the way to the end credits

I can't believe VR is exclusive. Sony is bad for VR and gaming as a whole. Filthy company.

Is the gold edition for £26.99 worth the extra?

I bought it when it was released then sold it immediately as I just couldn't get into it. I bought it again recently as I wanted to try it on the PSVR2. Didn't change my mind unfortunately. I preferred playing the remastered Resi 4 demo on the TV. Good for the price though. (edited)
