When it works - it's good. Problem is they eventually don't. Just threw one out and realised a lot were doing the same..

All of these from Amazon seem to die after a year.
The power cables always seem to fail.

I've had mine a few years and going strong, easy and clear to use. Having to top up one of my tyres regularly atm too.

Most unreliable air compressors I've ever used.

100% failure rate after very minimal use.

I gave an older air compressor to a pal that's still using it which must be around 30 years old and still works perfectly.

I had to remove the on off switch on the second Ring air compressor, as it failed after being used only a handful of times.

I mostly use a Continental inflator from a Mercedes these days, works really well and cost nowt (edited)

Barely used mine before the cigarette lighter connection part broke.
Haven't thrown out as it works if I just put the fuse into the cigarette lighter and hold it tight!

Had one for many years. No issues at all, so I think it varies. Some get lucky and some don't.

I'm looking to see if any better is out there or I'll buy this again (mine was stolen!).

Mine also broke, but the pump itself did. Fuse blew for no apparent reason too, separately, twice.

Next time I'd spend more and preferable get one with a longer lead so it'll reach over a small car, at least, and an end that locks onto the valve so you don't lose air screwing it on and off. It looks like a part that flips down to clamp on, you'll see it in the photos.

And also doesn't break easily, obviously.

Got a similar one to this with a dial. Seem to work ok but they are pretty noisy.

Had for few years now and been fine. Seems more accurate than previous cheapo needle pressure reader one I had. Took forever to inflate the tyres (annoyed). This one gets it done much quicker.

Lucky these things come with a warranty isn't it!

Mine has been going strong since 2014, and it's been living in a damp boot. Only had to change the 12v plug around 2 years ago, flawless otherwise.

Shame it's still so expensive, I bought it aroudn £12 before.
