In my experience it’s overrated…TV in the past had a faulty network card and they refused to replace and “repaired” it multiple times which done nothing

Amazon on the other hand I could have a 10 year old order, decided I’ve changed my mind and they’d give me a full refund and tell me to keep the telly

I have this TV and it’s brilliant. Paid about £425 for it a couple of weeks ago and it’s been great.

My parents have had the 2019 version since December 2019 and they love it. Dad is a big movie and Tv watcher and he thinks it’s great. Good price!

I recently got this tv, but can't figure out the picture settings. Do you have any recommendations?

Followed what I found online, but no luck. I have the previous model and quality is spot on, but the same settings don't carry over to this

Is this better than the Hisense 55E7HQTUK? In terms of brightness and picture quality? I've seen people talk about motion judder when watching sports, but how noticeable is that?

Was thinking to get the Hisense as it is a little cheaper but qled and 2 year warranty.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I would probs stick with the Hisense. This is a budget Samsung and isn't that great compared to others tbh.

I also have this TV and it's very impressive for the money I paid.

This might be a completely useless comment as it’s not available at the moment, but a couple of weeks back I got the 2022 BU8500 55” from Samsung eBay for £405. It was an “open box” item but everything inside was wrapped/sealed as new, and the box looked unopened to me. Might be worth keeping an eye out for these deals if not in a rush. (edited)

If you need a low budget TV, then this will be fine. I have this hooked up to an Xbox Series X and its not too bad for gaming, Netflix and Disney+. Picture wise, sharp 4k quality and ok colours but doesn't really blow me away in terms of colour depth.
My biggest gripe is that I don't like the edge-lit panel (being LCD of course) and the laggy interface.

If you can afford to double your budget to an OLED, I'd certainly pick that over this. But then you have to think about burn-in
