I know it's 32" and 4K, but that's a lot of money for a VA panel, at leasy it's a very good VA panel.

It's a decent monitor for the most part, but you better have a beefy enough GPU for high frame rates -

Unfortunately, it's still plagued by the same scanline and flicker issues from past Samsung monitors, which are problematic if your PC outputs games in low frame rates

Has better motion handling that most VA's (as you'd expect from a high end Samsung VA), but not quite IPS good.

For 32" 4K IPS 144hz+ panels you're looking around £500 when on offer (G3223q/M32U) - which will all have mediocre HDR performance/black levels.

You're really paying for the 1152 dimming zones - which for me is worth *this amount* extra - though I agree it will likely be too much for some

Just as a quick comparison as to the HDR/black levels, monitors unboxed have a good video here

Either cop this or go oled guys, wouldn't spend over the top for old ips tech

Great monitor but curve was too noticeable and it didn't auto switch sources

Why are monitors generally so expensive compared to tvs?

They are not as mass produced because there is not that much demand.

As other said - curve was way too aggressive for me. Sent mine back. Good price though.

That's the main issue I have with this monitor. There's simply no need for the deep curve. It's certainly not immersive and normal content looks daft on it.

I know if it was HMDI to HDMI you need a HMDI 2.1 cable

but if its USB C to HDMI.
what do you need? Anyone got a good deal on that?

and then a mini-DP to DP needs to be 2.1? or is 1.4 ok? and a link for a deal on that if u have one too, thanks (edited)
