"pretty tricky to misplace"? Do they have a loud independent beeping mode you can trigger when you've dropped one into long grass or the like? Somehow I seriously doubt this?
For me, the weird thing is why all these 'compact' designs don't come with the rubber 'wings'- the one innovation that ensures the thing is both comfortable and will stay in your ear.
