    Just bought this yesterday, quite happy with the quality generally, but I wouldn’t recommend sitting on the closed lid as there is no support there.

    Be mindful that these have a plastic push in fitting and not the traditional universal screw fitting. I tried to fit one on an ideal standard/armitage shanks normal base and couldn't do it. There are various "fixes" for this if you read thru the reviews. Unfortunately not for me.

    Bought, had trouble fitting as only one of the holes in the toilet did the fittings fit through easily . Great toilet seat though. Thanks OP

    I did have a light issue with the one advertised, I am currently using this ..

    and I have also installed 5 of these in the last 12months for different clients.

    I know its not cheaper but its worth the extra £5 in my view I highly recommend this, I can vouch this product, just remember to set seat FIRST from bird eye view, open and close the lid, before tightening... When doing so make sure its extra tighten from the joints. (edited)

    Bought and fitted your choice one on Friday in a house.Definitely a better seat than the one posted,although i think this was the one that had the £5 off bringing it down ( no pun intended ) to the above price but their wasnt any stock in Winchester on the day.I stay clear of Duraplast toilet seats,false economy would be my take on them if for own place.As a rental property toilet seat if it gets broken they can pay for it.Hot vote for the price of this style toilet seat only.

    Has a plastic plug type fitting that doesn't universally fit as it is too big for some pan holes. I managed to fit it with some threaded rods and plastic wing nuts I had over from another seat, not easy.......that said it's a quality thermoset seat (edited)
