Don't bother with cheap stuff.....Use Zinsser All Coat.

It's expensive but really good stuff. Spray painted our kitchen cabinets in it and rolled some other areas and it's as good as the original finish. All in the prep mainly but very hard wearing

Anyone used or would use on a metal garage door? It's not in bad condition but could do with a repaint.

Is gloss or satin best for garage door?

Hammerite is rated but gets extreme reviews. (edited)

It all comes down to what sheen would you like the surface to be. Satin is medium sheen as compared to Gloss

not much difference to be honest, brilliant white is touch bit whiter than normal white....
