Reviews for this were amazing when it came out. I bought it and was very underwhelmed and ended up sending it back.

I picked up a refurb of this for soundbar my garage/gym TV for a little less than this cost... When you run the Atmos demo, it does a nice job of tricking your ears to surround sound, but in reality there's little audible detail that sounds like it came from anywhere but the big black strip in front of you. Overall it's okay and I'm happy with it as it is, but the EQ pretty much always sounds a bit overwhelmed when there's a lot of bass/treble/midrange happening at the same time no matter which mode you select.

I also have a little Roku streambar hooked up to a small 3rd telly... for the £99ish they go for - I prefer that for day to day (upgrade over the inbuilt speakers television), though all mine does is CBeebies and Kids Netflix!

A 2.1 soundbar without a sub delivering Dolby Atmos? How on Earth is this possible? I think Dolby lowered their standards, and as far you pay them, they will allow their logo on any product.
On the surface, this looks like a good product and the price is attractive. Hard to believe that the specs on paper are delivered in reality. (edited)

There is a built-in sub, also dolby atmos is just the audio format like MP3, Dolby digital, DTS etc.
