Keep in mind his comment was made based on the RRP though. £40 is a pretty good price depite of his comments.
They are fantastic boots - I only use them through Winter when doing my daily walks, so they have not had "heavy use" but still look as good as the day I bought them. They are SOOOOO comfortable - like wearing nothing but cotton wool, and very nice to walk in.
For £40 they are a steal. Highly recommend
They're not too heavy, but not light either.
And the liner comes out too so they doesn't take long to dry. (edited)
