The steel of the two bladed halves of the multi-purpose scissors extends the full length of the side of the handle to which pressure is applied when cutting. This permits the use of the scissors as a bottle opener, can opener and nut cracker. The other scissors won't see such forces, so no need for full tang handles. Lest we forget these scissors are £5 for a set of 3. (edited)
