It's not very heavy (being aluminium) and hasn't jammed on me that I can recall. Needs a bit of a squeeze but I'm sure that's the same for all of these heavy duty staplers.
Got some genuine Stanley staples currently on offer at Toolstation and gave it a go.
Seems pretty good, although design has a bit too much plastic for ideal as such things tend to snap in the long run in my experience (especially is get too much sun exposure).
Overall glad got as I have several somewhat cheaper models that are too hit and miss on what they will drive or whether they will jam.
Alternative staples are better value than even reduced Stanley ones if they work OK.
