sorted byTears Of The Kingdom just seems to get more right, allows you to do more in your own way and the map is absolutely huge.
Zelda is my favourite series of all time and I've barely cared about the story, I couldn't tell you what happens in nearly every game. Some people might say you have to play Breath Of The Wild for the story, I would just skip it and go straight to Tears Of The Kingdom. (edited)
Without map markers, there's no pressure to 'complete' everything and discovering everything feels more organic. You'll set out to do A and end up doing B-Z instead. 40 hours in and I've only done 20% of the story.

Just a shame its running on such weak hardware hence people are already playing this emulated with far better resolution and improved frame rates.
