sorted byPope was heavily involved in re-colour grading The Matrix for its 4K master. The DVD was drained of its original grade, the blu-ray had its greens exaggerated, this master is what the Wachowskis aimed for in 1999, but even better thanks to modern tech. Delineation between colours is laser perfect. The Wachowskis gave their approval too.
I'm curious if anyone's compared its HDR10 base layer with the Dolby Vision version. I'm shopping around for players but the choice is extremely limited and DV adds a significant premium. (edited)
