I always read ingredients on things I haven't bought before. Do I actually understand what I read (slightly insulting) and yes I'm educated, literate and fully understand English and what all the ingredients are, except for "natural flavoring". Which is listed on many food items ingredients, but never actually says what it actually is!

The ingredients were originally all natural plants, vegetables and seasonings that have been processed, dried or dehydrated and ground or powdered. Then mixed with oils and fats to form a paste or dough that is probably extruded into the casing material.

The only really bad thing is the amount of oil (which is more than the amount of protein) and worse still the methyl cellulose. You really should read up on what that is and how bad it is!

I'm trying to eat healthier in general and cut down on salt, sugars, meat, unhealthy fats and oils, and excessively processed stuff. Vegiterian or vegan is supposed to be all natural and healthy things with minimal processing. This is processed or highly processed and probably no healthier than the eviscerated in an actual cheap hotdog!

Come on provide some links to science papers, to back up this claim, all I can see is there is no affect's on humans or animals and is approved by all food standards agency's.

    one of many science papers.

Those contain mainly good oils (especially rapeseed high in good fats) and we need oil in our diet, the only bad fats are saturated fats and each sausage contains is 1.5g of saturated fat, a typical pork sausage has 7g saturated fat per sausage and to say that average male is recommended to have no more than 30g per day these are pretty good.

So to be honest your talking horse , how about you show us comparison to the typical cheap pork sausage. (edited)

The bonus is that you can eat the packaging if you want a 7th sausage

Might give them a try, their burgers are brilliant and saying that as someone who is only eating them to try cut back on my red meat consumption for health reasons only. (edited)
