I believe Lidl have ran this deal nationally before (based on previous search here), so it's hopefully national. I purchased 48 tins for £14.99 from the Kempston Lidl this morning (loads of crates left at the front of the shop, opposite the bakery).

A crazy bargain at just over 30p a tin. BBF runs until 31-12-2024 on my tins.

I've attached evidence of purchase.3885431_1.jpg

What are you going to do with 48 Tins ?

Hot Tuna mayo & strong cheddar grated cheese baguette with red onion blast in the microwave for 45 seconds....

There's also more expensive ones (99p per tin) available for £19.99 per case of 48 - the no drain steaks in brine / sunflower oil. I believe there's also a salmon deal but not sure on details for that.

I didn't see those (doh!), but I can live with draining them into the sink for a few seconds each. Thanks for the heads up.

Just use a butterfly can opener and push the lid down to drain. (edited)

Was it the ones with the ring pull as pictured? I picked these up last week but only the ones without ringpull were on the offer. No biggie, just more convenient with the ring pull. (edited)

Ring pull cans have a different bar code and not part of this deal, unless you refill a box and put the cans upside down. And hope they don't scan them.

Thats what I thought, worth making sure folk are aware of that before they end up at the till and have an awkward moment with the wrong 48 tins, especially as the checkout staff would have launched them at you faster than an AK47 on automatic fire, or is that just my branch they do that at

Think the tinned salmon you are referring to might have been the weekend deal that ran from 21-23rd Jan? Got some then - lot of fishy deals at Lidl this year so far.
