These poor children were failed by their own parents, their social workers, the police, society, and those people there are truly no words nor punishment for.
There is nothing that can be done for these (now) women that could possibly undo any of that damage.
At the same time racists have politicised this to help make their point. It's been primarily used by the far right with a sprinkling of lies and the even worse, ommision by lies.
People like GB news and Fox News make it sound like Britain is absolutely drowned in this problem, and Britain has turned into mad max.
It's horrific. Don't underplay it. The Politicians and the Police have not done their job. And yes the scale of it is horrific. One case would be awful and it runs into thousands nationwide. The BBC have failed miserably as ever to report this. Thankfully others are. And plenty can be done to help children and young people scarred for life. This has a long way to go still to find who was responsible. No more brushing under the carpet.
