Xiaomi 12 8gb/256gb plus Xiaomi Buds 3T Pro - £569 with automatic discount @ Xiaomi

Gorgeous phone unfortunately they used Samsung to fabricate the snapdragon 8 gen 1 and thermal / power management is shockingly bad. While it has really high scores on the doors it draws near 11W at flat out, it's a phone not a laptop, there isn't a fan for active cooling in there. needless to say they can't let it run 100% at all really so it's throttled to hell as a result and Qualcomm quickly did a mid run refresh by going to TSMC and asking them to make the processor as it was intended, hence the quick release of the 8+ Gen 1 shortly after the 8 Gen 1 was used in a few devices.

It's a beautiful thing with a terrible processor. The 8+ Gen 1 or 8 Gen 2 processors are made by TSMC and just generations ahead, find a phone with one of them and it will have much better longevity. (edited)
