No. Unless it's from a different seller, it's not available at this price. It's £86 from my link in the 3rd comment and £88-94 in the 5th comment link. If buying from AliExpress, you're better off getting the "Global Version" from other sellers for about the same price or get it in UK from John Lewis for £109.95< with 2 year warranty.

So I'm a dumbass, is this a good deal or not then?

Could be this one maybe... (y) https://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Global-ROM-Original-Xiaomi-Redmi-6-3GB-RAM-32GB-ROM-Mobile-Phone-Helio-P22-Octa-Core/311331_32887606822.html?spm=2114.12010612.8148356.5.63b020ffeUjx9D

Dead link, £93 searching their website ???

Based on the deal image, I assume it's this HK Goldway listing<?. However this price is for Rose Gold only which is OOS. Also Global ROM = non B20 China Version flashed with Global ROM. Redmi 6 is one of few phones where China Version is specced slightly different from UK/Global Version Redmi 6. China Version has dual SIM / microSD hybrid whereas UK/Global Version has dual SIM + dedicated microSD.

Good deal OP. (y)

As it's sold in EU it'll be fine.

Any way to confirm if this has global ROM? Thanks

I think the 3 has more screen to body ratio the fone slides to reveal a selfie cam where as the 2s you have to flip the fone not sure about the other differences probably an upgraded chip aswell

Yep mine are quite dry, but prob wont use it much , dont really do selfies

Yep, I get that a lot of the time. But I handed it to a few people at work to take a look and they had no such issue. I think its because my hands are usually quite dry, so there is a lack of grip.

Yeah, I thought that a screen protector would help.ut it hasn't.

Anyone fancy explaining the difference between the Mi 8 and the Mi A2? I got the Mi A2 off one of your posts recently, for under £200, and I'm happy with it. I presume this does something, or a few things better?

Amazing price

No idea, maybe that huge notch got in the way :D

Oh I forgot to mention the battery life in my post. Best I've had on any smart phone by far!

Heat added! Great phone, very smooth and although some reviews said the camera and overall style weren't that great I'm more than happy with it. Recommended to anyone. The days of having to pay excessive amounts on mobiles are over :-) I got the 128gb version from Toby Deals for about £280 with a decent screen protector included (delivered in a week). £8 a month for 5gb of data with a BT SIM and job done.

Hi, they are pretty much the same phone tbh, the 6 pro has the better selfie cam and a notched bigger screen, which imo will look a little outdated pretty soon, and the 5 has no notch.

Yeah a bit of a "roadblock". The 3rd paragraph on this anti-rollback article< explains it a bit more. Although it still occurs, sellers tend to be more clear about what you're getting, compared to before "Global Version" being a thing.

I wasn't aware of this, thanks for the informative reply. My guess is an on Xiaomi's part to "slow down" selling phones to the Western market.

Nothing is stopping it entirely. Sellers have done it for years. Not as frequent nowadays though because Global Versions come fairly quickly after the initial release. Xiaomi increased bootloader unlock waiting times and introduced anti-rollback protection on some phones, to prevent the amount of China Versions being sold to the Global market but it still occurs. Redmi 6 Pro for example is for China and India only, whereas Global Version = Android One counterpart, Mi A2 Lite. As a result, there isn't a Global ROM for Redmi 6 Pro so quite a few listings for it will mention custom ROM. HK Goldway listing< "Custom Rom, Multi-Language, Not Support OTA Update"

Really??? What's stopping someone unlocking the bootloader and sticking a custom ROM.

Same, but we can only give our sides of the coin. (y)

Same here, i have used eglobal a couple of times when the price has been right. Make sure you protect your payment, by using a credit card or whatever, and then expect nothing until the phone arrives. When the phone arrives, once again expect nothing from eglobal, not even a warranty. In my case, my phones have all arrived within 10 days and have worked perfectly. I would use eglobal in the future, although i am aware that other people have had problems with them.

No problemo my friend :D

Think I'm going to sleep on it...never a good idea to make spending decisions half awake. It looks like there are plenty of decent options out there. Maybe I don't need to jump onto the first deal I see. Also I've looked at that many phones and comparisons today my brain is fried lol. Assistance muchos appreciated.

They are both virtually the same phone, you get a better front facing camera with the 6, you also get a bigger screen, but there's a notch taking a big chunk of that.

Thank you (y)

Yes it will, if you buy one that's actually "Global Version" and not "Global ROM"... "Global Version" = English packaging, EU plug, sealed, Global ROM pre-installed "Global ROM" = Chinese packaging, US plug, opened, Global ROM flashed by seller Buyer feedback will prove it too. Here's a Global Version from "Xiaomi Online Store"< with almost 400 buyers that have included photos in their feedback. They'll show English box with red "Global Version" sticker and EU plug. Check "HK Goldway" and compare their "Global Version" listing< to their "Global ROM" listing< You'll also sometimes see the cellophane sealed box, in buyer feedback.

I'm dealing with it by trying to have a conversation with you, you are the only person that has ever commented on a global version deal that has said it isn't global version. I've bought two phones from Ali express, and both global version came with the red sticker on the side. @dreadzone101 assistance here?

It's not a whine if it's the truth. MI8 from aliexpress will not be an official global version and you're misinforming member that might buy it and lose money. If you post another deal with lies I will comment on it. Deal with it... :)

I said vernacular, as in I've heard this before from many trolls in my deals. I don't have a problem with the way you speak. Here Here Here Here You have issues with aliexpress which you need to take up with them, instead of trolling most aliexpress deals with the same whine. Plus you've had a go at one of my deals before here Thought I recognised your profile name.

Will do.. :D

Hmm yeah, I don't even do screen protectors but am half tempted with this, its a constant worry. :D I almost prefer it when I've had a phone for a while and stop to care so much. I've not really had an issue with the slider opening, if anything I find it tricky to open at times, think its because my hands are generally quite dry and so don't grip as well. Overall though, love this phone. Link the review when its live.

I went for this one today, I'm constantly scared incase I drop it. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F173732240286 One little niggle I've found, when I'm at work, and I yak it out my pocket, the slider has already opened, which is slightly annoying. But apart from that I'm loving it, and am I the middle of writing up a review for the mi community UK :)

I also seem to gave issues with fingerprint scanners and this one has been perfect for me. I had loads of trouble with my last phone (Samsung S7 Edge), it would usually work for a while when I first set a fingerprint, but would gradually get worse and I'd end up having to set it again, in the end I pretty much gave up trying to use a fingerprint. I don't think it was the phone though as seemed fine for others. Anyway, not had a single problem with this one, and I'm a fan of the rear positioning as well. :D I might go for that case you've recommended as well, I had a Nillkin case for a phone years ago and really liked it, though I was thinking of going for a softer case. I'm also half temoed to go naked, its a risk I know but that ceramic back is just so damn nice! Seems such a shame to hide it away.

Lol, I'm saying nothing.... Oh wait (shock)

Recently received the 64 gb version from Amazon UK that was on back order for £144. As I haven't yet got a nano SIM to fit I charged it fully and have only used the WiFi facility and played with settings. A full charge has dropped to 52% after 10 days on standby. Not really indicative to a heavy user but it is some battery capacity.

My used like-new 64gb one from Amazon was new. It had never been opened. Was skeptical of buying another xiaomi phones as the Note 5 global version i had from eglobal was a ghosting/blurry/awfully coloured mess, which i lost when drunk a month after i bought it. Faith restored immediately when i used this for the first time. Great phone, especially at £139 (y)

The person claiming that sounds about 11 years old. How would Xiaomi even think of claiming something that can be verified so easily? There are different 48MP sensors, and I’m sure the 48 MP Note 7 Pro Sony sensor will be even better than this 48MP sensor (which in any case shows that just going by MP is silly), but this is an excellent camera for the price. But a £140 phone with a camera as good as the benchmark p20 Pro? No.

Does anyone know if the vouchers are still working? For me it's saying that they are no longer available - do they get refreshed periodically?

I have never ordered from eglobal purely due to the reviews on it. Granted that majority of people only review when they have bad experiences. I think with gearbest at least, i have ordered multiple phones and never been taxed when I have selected the free shipping option. As soon as you select a faster shipping method the seller uses the likes of DHL to ship your package which I understand are more stringent and ademant on making you pay taxes.
