sorted byI flashed mine to a country that supports dual SIM (India I think) and bought a dual SIM tray online. All worked perfectly. Banking apps all gone, just can't use the NFC for paying. (edited)
The camera for sure is much better than both and it also has wireless charging, it is pretty similar to mi 12 lite in most other specs though (edited)
She's broken the screen on every phone she's had after a year but this has survived all the bumps and drops like a pro (have a decent case and screen protector installed of course)
As said by many, still gets updates and is still a cracker of a phone.
One thing tho if you use gestures for home back etc they don't work on Xiaomi's with third party launchers.
Phone was being purchased from Xiaomi UK for 357 quid.
Phone is running MIUI 14.0.1, security updates received. (2023.04.01)
Battery life is not terrible after 3 years I do manage to get a full day out of it, meanwhile I serve my 15 minute break I do plug it in, It has fast charge 33W.
It's a great deal if you have a strict budget of no more than 250 quid, however if you want to spend more I do recomend Mi12 Mi13 newer models.

A Camera. Pro has slighly smaller battery.
QI had one of these for a few months. Camera lagged just like all non pixel phones but quality was ok. Software was terrible and for 3 months had a bug where the pop up to select app to open a file would open the Mi Browser. Screen pinning has been removed, it used to auto go into eye comfort mode at 11pm and there WAS NO WAY to disable it. Apps close too easily in the background. I can't recommend this phone or any Xiaomi phone.
A You need to update it to latest software, camera is performing 200% better than since I have bought it, something that you will not find on many big brand devices.
