Apparently it is SINGLE SIM if it matters. Decent deal nevertheless.

Mine was too but if you look at the SIM slot, you might notice a blanked out cut out for another SIM. I'm pretty sure all models have the hardware for dual SIM, it's just a country thing.

I flashed mine to a country that supports dual SIM (India I think) and bought a dual SIM tray online. All worked perfectly. Banking apps all gone, just can't use the NFC for paying. (edited)

I had the mi11 and the battery life was very poor lucky to get four hours screen time with the snapdragon 888 and quad hd screen but this should be better as the snapdragon 865 was a far better chip

I had one of these for a few months. Camera lagged just like all non pixel phones but quality was ok. Software was terrible and for 3 months had a bug where the pop up to select app to open a file would open the Mi Browser. Screen pinning has been removed, it used to auto go into eye comfort mode at 11pm and there WAS NO WAY to disable it. Apps close too easily in the background. I can't recommend this phone or any Xiaomi phone.

This is my current phone and my experience is the opposite. Would strongly recommend to anyone, and have done so.

Released 3 years and 4 months ago. Will it still receive any security updates ?

It is still up to date with the latest MIUI version and it isn't on the list to stop updates so it should still be receiving them for a few years

This used to be my primary phone before I gave it to my wife. I had it for 2 years and it was one of the best phones I've owned.

She's broken the screen on every phone she's had after a year but this has survived all the bumps and drops like a pro (have a decent case and screen protector installed of course)

As said by many, still gets updates and is still a cracker of a phone.

Helpful review thanks. Could you offer your opinion on the best android device around the 150 200 mark? Doesn't have to be 5g but even better if so.

Just bought a new phone (OnePlus 10 Pro) as my Mi10 was starting to switch itself on and off, camera was just ok but the fingerprint and face unlock super fast and 100%, unlike the Pixel 7 which I just sold (awful) even better (just) than my one+ ...

One thing tho if you use gestures for home back etc they don't work on Xiaomi's with third party launchers.

Before anyone replies, I do mention I do own this phone for 3 years now.

Phone was being purchased from Xiaomi UK for 357 quid.

Phone is running MIUI 14.0.1, security updates received. (2023.04.01)
Battery life is not terrible after 3 years I do manage to get a full day out of it, meanwhile I serve my 15 minute break I do plug it in, It has fast charge 33W.

It's a great deal if you have a strict budget of no more than 250 quid, however if you want to spend more I do recomend Mi12 Mi13 newer models.

QA: (I will try to reply to relevant questions found in the comment section)

Q Is this much better then the. Mi 10 t lite or the mi 12 lite
A Yes, this was premium line phone.

Q Apparently it is SINGLE SIM if it matters. Decent deal nevertheless.
A It is single SIM only for EU/US.

Q What's the diff between this and the pro version? I checked GSM arena, and honestly, I can't see anything

A Camera. Pro has slighly smaller battery.

QI had one of these for a few months.
A You need to update it to latest software, camera is performing 200% better than since I have bought it, something that you will not find on many big brand devices.

    Any questions welcome.
