Dont Upgrade Your Android Device Yet

An interesting read today that many may find interesting.
New devices will launch very soon that promise to offer flagship features at a cheaper price.
Anyone thinking about splashing out on an expensive flagship phone might want to wait a few more weeks. US technology giant Qualcomm has just announced a new version of its premium Snapdragon processor very soon that aims to bring big features to devices at a lower price for consumers.
It's called the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and it takes inspiration from the powerful 8 Gen 3 chip that's found in devices such as the latest and greatest Galaxy S24 Ultra from Samsung.
Qualcomm is also promising hyper-realistic mobile gaming with features such as accelerated Ray Tracing for smooth on-screen action.
The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 sounds pretty mighty but it might mean users now have to do a bit of homework before buying their next device. For example, some manufacturers are still releasing phones with last year's incredibly impressive Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor inside. Then there's that top-tier Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and now slightly less powerful 8s Gen 3 as well.

Strange re-post of a newspaper article(?) and arguably also pointless. There's obviously always more powerful phones and cost reductions of current gen on the way, if you waited for this you'd never buy anything.

The article itself even says the most powerful version of the chip they advise waiting for is on sale today in the S24 Ultra with a lower power version coming at some point...
