How the returns process works at Amazon

    As someone who sells on Amazon via fba I can categorically say that they do not inspect returns. I have had returns with various missing parts, returns that have been swapped out for broken items and returns that have been swapped for different items.

    precisely, you can buy these amazon returns, and most are in inbox they been returned in including slips with buyers' address, etc (edited)

    I didn't learn anything really.
    That said, over 75% of my purchases get returned as I buy multiples to choose the one to keep.

    It is amazing how they do it on such a big scale
    Looks like anything sent back is treated as second hand/used. Even if it's still brand new?
