Went to try post a deal for the bodyshop and noticed they have been banned on here.

Saw this on the bbc website

The Body Shop's UK business is set to appoint administrators this week, in a move likely to result in shop closures and job losses.

Would be a good time to check if you have any gift cards or vouchers and use them as soon as possible

Sell off the profitable parts of the company, have the left over unprofitable part take on the debt for the money used to buy it, secured on its assets. If the leftover company goes under, it takes the debt with them. Regardless of if Body Shop survives or not, they've already made their money.

    Gotta love private equity.

Similar treatments happening at ASDA & Morrisons. Sell and leaseback the real estate, load them with debt and over time let them wither away. (ANd price rises to boot, to support such shenanigans)

Happened to Maplins, Debenhams, Comet, and many more.

Not moving with the times. And Greed, wanting to rest on their past laurels.

    Sad for the employees.

We used to buy stuff from there regularly but last couple of years, their prices have been totally unaffordable
