    First time it has ever paid a dividend and it was paid to the parent company following the sale of assets.

    That is not what you do if you want to make your company look good for a takeover. That's the very opposite.

    Just wait for when they merge with Vodaphone. Prices will skyrocket to the same as EE.

    Agreed, its always been a cartelised operation between the networks. Only a matter of time.

    My worry is, if and when the merger takes place, there will be the temptation to get rid of all the MVNOs in one fell swoop and that will be the real kicker for consumers.

    Although the apologists will strongly disagree.
