Isn't this like Ferrari throwing in a free tank of petrol when you buy a car from them.

And allow wheel insurance when you've only got steel wheels (believe me, it happened to me once). Obviously not a Ferrari.

Not interested in those rip off parks. There are so many nice resorts for under half the price.

Please can I ask where you would recommend instead?

Went to whinfell last week. Had a great time but the prices now are ridiculous. £3.30 for a tube of Pringles in the shop. Pints £7.50, 7 quid for a Hotdog in dexters which was literally a bun with a sausage on it. Onions are a pound extra!
Meals in the lakeside Inn are gastro pub prices but aren't much better than what you get in weatherspoons.

Went to elveden forest once, never again. We've had far nicer and cheaper lodge holidays via hoseasons. (edited)

For those who want to go to center parcs but don't want the price. They also have European parks. I took my wife and 2 kids in the summer holidays to the Holland center parcs for only £1100 for the week. (edited)

this, it's cheaper to go to center parcs on the continent than it is in this country

Used to go a lot up until 2008. Good offers with previous owners of the parks for NHS staff and lower prices then. Keep thinking about trying the European parks.

My missus reluctant to go in the UK as she seems to have the impression the whole park is like the Simpsons Movie, and you’re locked in under a dome for the duration of your stay! (edited)
