About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Hey folks, there's a LOT of sites out there saying you can make money online, quite a few of them are spammy / not legit and/or just not worth your time.

I've tried to condense these down into the BEST sites, giving an explanation on each one, pros & cons, little tweaks to be better then the rest, which in-turn gives you more surveys, which in-theory, means more money.

I've personally dabbled in the world of Bitcoin, it certainly is a roller-coaster and quite possibly the best times have gone for that particular coin but different ones spring up all the-time and the new 'in-thing' could be around the corner.

I'm not claiming to be an expert by any means but i hope this helps you anyway, would love to hear your own experiences on the below and/or any others i may have missed out, thanks.

*Your capital is at risk so PLEASE check what you're signing up for and CAREFULLY read any T&C's*

Make Money Online: Tips for Beginners and Advanced

3191745.jpg
Whether you want to make extra cash in the short term or generate a more sustainable income, there are many ways to make money online with just a smart device or computer. Most methods are not particularly difficult or complex, but they are time-consuming and will require a certain amount of dedication. To get the conversation started, i've put together a list of tried and tested ways of making extra income online.

None are likely to make you rich quick, but you can work from home and by participating in many different schemes you'll get higher rewards.

Share Your Thoughts on Survey Sites

Survey Sites can feel repetitive, especially if you are hoping to make more than a few hundred pounds each year, but you won’t need any experience or qualifications to take part. When you fill in surveys for money, it will involve giving your views on everything from TV programmes to consumer products and advertising campaigns. Companies are prepared to pay for your opinions because it helps them to streamline their marketing, spending less to reach the right people. It is not an easy or quick way to earn money online, but if you are tempted to try out a survey site, here are some of the most popular.

  • At SwagBucks you earn bucks for watching videos, playing games or finding codes, as well as completing surveys. Bucks equal points and these can be redeemed for cash through PayPal or as gift cards.

  • Media Cell / Incompassis an online research panel. Who are interested in speaking to a variety of different people from all walks of life, and understanding what they have been watching, reading, playing and listening to, and how they communicate with their friends and family. Earn £20 after your first month, then £10 per month thereafter

  • At many survey sites you will need to qualify before being allowed to participate in a survey, but at Global Test Market most surveys are open to everyone. You can withdraw your earnings as cash via PayPal or as a gift card.
  • If you are willing to take part, LifePoints (Formerly known as MySurvey) asks you to keep diaries and try out products, as well as completing surveys online. Each task is rewarded with points that can be used to purchase products or gift cards, or withdrawn into PayPal as a cash payment.

  • PanelBase put £3 into your account just for signing up and have a diverse selection of tasks. Assuming you agree to participate and qualify, you could be asked to take a telephone survey, participate in a focus group or test out new products. There is no points system and they only pay out in cash.

  • Product testing are available at Toluna, but to be in with more chance of being accepted, always fill in your profile. This also gains you more points which can be exchanged for vouchers or cash.

  • You can test out products, comment on advertisements and complete surveys at Valued Opinions. Some surveys are worth £5 and you can choose gift cards from the high street or online retailers.

  • A very popular choice is Opinion Outpost, which allocates reward points for filling out surveys and enters you into a prize draw for each survey you attempt, even if you do not qualify to eventually complete it. They pay out in gift vouchers or cash through PayPal.

  • Music fans can share their views at Slice the Pieand get cash for their time. You will need to write a comprehensive review of a track, a piece of clothing or an advert, which is then used to help artists and record labels promote their music.

Make a Profit With Matched Betting

3191745.jpg
Matched betting can seem intimidating, but if you are prepared to work hard and learn, it can be profitable. The technique involves creating multiple online betting accounts, then using the rewards and incentives offered to place risk-free bets. You do not need betting or sports experience, but getting the right odds is still important so you will need to understand this aspect of gambling.

For example, a bookmaker is offering a £10 bonus if you place a £10 stake on a boxing match. Using account A, you can bet on a boxer to win, and then, using account B, you can bet on them to lose. These opposite bets allow you to get the £10 bonus and another £10 for placing a winning bet, whichever it happened to be. You have to place many bets to obtain offers and this takes time, but the more hours you commit to your scheme the better an income could be. Luckily, there are a number of platforms which provide the tools you need to get started.

  • Odds Monkey have a free account option where you can test matched betting and earn up to £45 profit completely free! - proving the paid for service is worth investing in to earn more. They built the original matched betting software - The oddsmatcher which constantly scans bookmakers for profitable opportunities. The service provides members with step-by-step tutorials, videos, tools and the support is second to none

60% off the first month of membership (usually £17.99 but get a month for £7.20 with code fanf60

  • You can get another free trial at Profit Accumulator, where they list the most attractive bonuses and offers as they become available. This is one of the largest matched betting sites with a huge forum, so you can learn a lot from more seasoned members.

  • If you are familiar with online casinos, then Profit Maximiser finds free bets and reload offers from them as well as bookmakers. Like other platforms, they charge for membership, but then you can join in the conversation on their Facebook page to pick up pro tips.

  • heads&heads make matched betting easy by finding you the bets with the best profit and allowing you to quickly add them to your tracking table. Oddsmatching Software is the most important tool in a matched bettors arsenal. It searches all the bookmakers and betting exchanges, instantly finding favourable odds matches for us to make our profit on. - £1 for 30 Days premium with code NEW01

Find Reliable Borrowers on Peer to Peer Lending Platforms

3191745.jpg
On peer to peer lending sites, lenders and borrowers are brought together in order to avoid banks or other institutions. Borrows tend to get a more competitive rate of interest and a faster decision, while lenders get a good return on their investment and the lending site chases repayments. Anyone with spare cash can become a lender, you simply choose a platform, make a deposit and look for potential borrowers.

Borrowers are assessed with credit checks and allocated a risk-level, usually, you can choose to fund all or part of their loan. To lower the potential risks, you can lend smaller amounts to multiple borrowers. Once the repayments begin to roll in, you can reinvest the money by lending again, or bank your profits. In the beginning, it is best to start by lending small amounts and always go with an established platform

The minimum investment at Kuflinkis £100, from this you can expect a 3.99% to 7.2% return and their portfolio mainly consists of UK property developments. This is a good starting point for beginners as Kuflink take the first 20% of losses on the majority of their loans.

If you are looking to invest less, then Ratesetter are willing to accept deposits of just £10. The returns vary from 5.7% to 6.4% and you could be financing property, a business or even a consumer loan.

PeerBerry Individuals and companies from within European Union can become investors at PeerBerry - The minimal amount for one investment is EUR 10

Dofinance VIP Investor - There are 3 simple steps - register, add documents and add funds (starting from 10 euro). When you have added money in your investor's account, you can start investing, you can choose to invest in loans with a term ranging from 1 day up to 60 months

Finbee - As an investor, you can invest into personal loans or business loans. Finbee claim to have an average return from 18%, the minimum investment is 5 euro.

Work the Markets on Financial Trading Sites

3191745.jpg
Probably not the best option for the faint hearted as 80.6%of retail CFD accounts lose money.

Trading sites give you the chance to speculate on stock market price movements. If your predictions are accurate, you’ll make a profit, if not you’ll lose your stake. It is certainly possible to make money online through stock trading, but it can be demanding and intense. If you are completely new to the concept, you will certainly have to learn more about the processes involved and gain a deeper understanding of the special terminology used by traders.

As a rule of thumb, you should only invest what you can afford to lose, but the minimum deposit required is as high as £200, so the financial commitment can be substantial. To get started, you can select a user-friendly online platform with plenty of educational content and a demo account where you can learn the ropes risk-free.

  • With a straightforward trading interface and a solid demo account Plus500 are another broker that will appeal to anyone who is starting out with investing. The focus here is on CFD or Contracts for Difference trading, so instead of purchasing shares, you are speculating on price movements within a financial market. If you do your research thoroughly, there is a potential for large rewards.

  • One of the best for social trading, is eToro where you can watch what more experienced traders do and copy their stakes if they seem to be on a winning streak. Better still they also provide a demo account with virtual money so you can get started on the site and learn how to place trades without risking any real money.

  • People with a knowledge of cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin and Dash might prefer Coin Base. The platform works in the same way as other brokerages, but it enables the buying and selling of cryptocurrencies. The company has a global reach and a great reputation, plus they accept credit and debit cards so the process is very convenient.

4 More Things to Get the Most Out of an Online Income

All of these options allow you to work from home, it’s just a case of signing up online with the companies you are interested in. However, it is worth using an email address just for this purpose as your inbox will probably fill up with spam quite quickly. Once you are ready to go, stick with sites that offer realistic rewards. When something seems too good to be true it probably is. People tend to make small amounts from each company they work for, but when these are added together the monthly total is more significant. Take note of the following tips to make the most of your online experience.

  • Be consistent, after creating a dedicated email address check it regularly for new surveys for money or other opportunities.
  • When you make a profit, it is sensible to withdraw it quickly. Businesses do not operate in the same way as banks and the cash is only working for you when it is sitting in your account.

  • It takes patience to earn money online, whichever methods you use. You’ll need to learn the ropes over a few weeks or even months, so be prepared to wait for a return on your investment.

  • Don’t stockpile vouchers. If you are compensated for your time in vouchers, spend them on something you need sooner rather than later. Vouchers are easier to mislay or forget about than cash and they may have an expiry date.

    **PLEASE READ BELOW**

**Just a reminder, your capital is at risk so PLEASE check what you're signing up for and CAREFULLY read any T&C's, there are NO guarantees.**

PS: Please note, some sites have openings for new members, they then close and re-open a few weeks later so well worth signing up.

What could possibly go wrong with betting and stocks being mentioned in the same sentence as making money at home.

There is also a company called Beelivery - it is an app where people purchase items, you then go to the shop, purchase and deliver the items to the customer. Beelivery then give you the money back as well as commision for doing this. Depending on location and time this could be a decent profit, most I made doing a delivery was about £12 and it only took about 30 minutes of my time.

Its tough to make money online nowadays unless you have a niche idea or one-off product, I hear people talk of surveys but they are time consuming and barely worth the time for the pennies you get not to mention having such apps on your phone are a backdoor for corporations & sites like google to monitor everything you say & do, spend & buy..

As for betting, I find it quite annoying that people set up multiple email accounts to to try and make money, and as for the match up bonus, by accepting betting bonuses you have to make a lot of money before you can withdraw, so you may hear a lot of people saying how wonderful it is, but actually its not and you can find yourself In debt if you not experienced and can make a huge loss.

Years ago people use to brag about these methods a lot, especially with fruit machines online, accepting 100% match bonuses, but again its very time consuming and you really do have to win a lot and put it a lot before you can even withdraw money.... for example if you deposit £50 and are given £50 for FREE = £100 you have to stake more than 70% of that before you can even attempt to withdraw funds, I tried it once and won over £500, at one point I had almost around £800 in the pot, but I found I could NOT withdraw a penny of it all because I had accepted a £50 bonus, to conclude I worked out I had to win £1000s before I could even attempt to withdraw funds... I do not know how this equates to sports betting, but I am sure the tiny (almost invisible words about withdrawing funds) are the same... to WIN on gambling sites you have to deposit big to win BIG and NEVER-EVER accept match-up bonuses, this is the ONLY way really and some sites are very strict with withdrawal to, they will do anything in their power to stop you from withdrawing funds no matter how much you win... 888 & similar casino sites are great examples, to withdraw from them you have to send in 2+ evidences of identity including passport, utility bills and on the list goes... and if you win they can argue you should have sent the photo identity & other proofs of identity prior to winning the money (which makes it forfeited) they will make up all kinds of excuses NOT to give you the money especially if you win big... you really do read some horror stories about gambling sites refusing to pay out, the excuse I was referring to about sending in identity proof prior to winning is a true story, I read an article about a guy who joined the site, like most of us do, we register and deposit money, he won over £3000 but all because he had not sent in identity proof prior to winning, the site refused to give him his winnings, after a constant battle even after he sent in multiple evidences of passport, address & identity he lost the battle apparently there was almost invisible words in terms & conditions about withdrawal of funds so eventually he lost.

Trading is a decent way to make money if you are experienced but again you have to be willing to lose money and to make it pay you have to invest a decent amount of at least £500 otherwise you will be waiting for a very long time to see any decent amount of profit.

To conclude, great post and thanks for sharing OP, heat added, but I will conclude if you want to make money online, you need a idea that no one else as thought of, or a exclusive product that everyone needs, or be willing to invest a few grand, if not... forget it. (edited)

    I would like to say:
    a) Be careful with matchbetting if you're not confident in what you're doing.
    b) The list of P2P lenders seems a bit unusual. Check them out entirely, make sure they have a security fund and see if they're registered with P2PFA. Some P2P companies like AssetzCapital are protected by FSCS. Others are not.
    c) Avoid eToro.

The "Work the Markets on Financial Trading Sites" section is terrible advice. Approx 81% of retail investors will lose money trading CFDs.

Mods need to remove this page.

A far far better piece of advice would be to skill up on the free/cheap udemy courses and get an actual job.

This is literally the ad I saw today at the train station for a CFD trading company. The 81% is their own statistic so if anything it's probably lower than the true value: 37185899-f8aZS.jpg (edited)

Doesn't mean its a bad idea. it you follow the guides and the rules its not betting, you are just taking value, dont need to know anything about sports or casinos, just follow the guides, stick to the rules and you won't be invested in the outcome as you'd be covered on all outcomes.

if you go off piste then yes you can get addicted and lose money but if you don't you will be fine and potentially make very healthy returns.

I don't see the point in demo accounts on stock trading sites

For you, it's so you can gain confidence in what you're doing without risk.

God it's a slow deal day when something like this is one of the picks of the bunch.

Yeah, just set up a stock trading account to make money online easily as a beginner. Or become a lender of an unsecured loan to someone you have no idea about. Or try to beat the house gambling online.

Honestly, what a crock of rubbish.

Filling in surveys is a genuine way to turn time into money online, but at a hell of a slow rate.

Best way to make money online is to learn SEO. Being doing it for around 3 years or so and make more working from home than i ever did in a 9 - 5 job. Some days i wake and cant be arsed so i dont do any work and just go do what i want. Money still comes in. Learn how to build websites with wordpress. Learn how to find the right keywords for a niche. Build website around said niche. Do SEO for the pages with the keywords your trying to rank for. I learned it myself on forums, utube etc. Took ages but best thing i ever did. 1 tip i will give is dont go into the porn niche. If i spent half as much time being an amazon affiliate as i have with adult stuff id have made far more. Iv attached an image with earnings for one site i promote37186587-sCFuw.jpg

My money savings tips are create new emails for Sainsbury's online shopping to save £18 a week on your shop.

Use a Virgin Atlantic Card for all payments, with no fees you can rack up 20k air miles in less than 3 years and get return flights to the states for free.

Scalp, yes it's frowned upon, but you can make some serious cash on some deals on here e.g Lisa Angel 90% off I bought 5 boxes of jewellery consisting of 100's of pieces. Sold them for £4.99 each, paid 30p each.

Flipping domain names is a good one if you know what you're doing. I buy them for 99p and flip them up between £50-£300.

Mystery Shopping, me and my wife do these fortnightly and make around £50 doing tasks from going to banks, to ordering meals and taking photos.

Affiliate links, redirects, AdSense..creating a landing page and directing traffic via Facebook Ads, I make £60 a month that way.

The stock market, do not listen to these previous comments about using trading 212 and other brokers. I buy and sell shares weekly and can prove it. If anyone's interested I can help with that.

But the best way to make money is by working. I know it's lame to say that, but for the time it takes to make £1 on swagbucks you can put on overtime and make 10x that.

If you don't have a job start your own business, it's easy enough to do, and government schemes like NWES can offer loans and free support so you can make a fortune. Then you can be paid what you want to be paid.

Sorry for the preaching, but I tried all the ways the OP listed and you'll spend so much time for nothing. (edited)

If there was enough interest I'd do a guide on how to do affiliate marketing through social media. Takes an initial investment of as little as £10 and can generate between £20-£2,000 a month depending on how much time you put into it.

Here's a screenshot of today's earnings and sales.

I won't waste my time unless there's interest though as I don't have a lot of time these days (work/family)

HEAT. Matched betting is dead now.

Not dead but not as easy as it once was, I made £6,000 between August and December last year starting off with £25 initially, spent a fair bit of it over Christmas and finding it a lot slower going this year with 2k to use. But there's definitely still money to be made just have to put a fair bit of effort in and need a bit of luck for a lot of the offers to be profitable.

This person is clearly just trying to spread his affiliate links and make money off people signing up to these services. Clearly the actual way to make money online is to spam affiliate links everywhere like this post.

I am a freelance writer, I lost my normal day job last August as a result of someone finding out that I was a part time freelance writer and informed management about it. I got dragged into an investigation, put my case forward but it looked like they were going to sack me so I resigned with immediate effect.

So, here I was with a two month old, a wife on maternity leave and me with no income....however, as I had been a part time freelance writer over the past 5-6 years, I had a good base from which to start a full time freelance writing business which I did. Since August, I have been through some very testing times mentally because I felt like I had let my family down, forfeited a full-time wage and messed everything up. It was not a nice time. However, I kept plugging away as I already had the ground work done from writing part time, so I scaled it up and since I have not looked back. I use online platforms to advertise my service as well as attract clients from outside of the platform. What I am saying is that if you have a skill that you can utilise then there are plenty of opportunities out there to earn money online. I have an office at home now and I start work at around 6:30 am and finish around 2pm so I can spend time with my children and my wife. I am not saying that the ideas on here are of no use but I am saying that people can make use of the platforms out there to earn additional money with a skill they already possess. As a full-time business, I now bring home on average 3-4k per month after tax and it is looking like I might need to take on an additional writer. So, do your research online and take a chance....you never know what can happen!

People get addicted to McDonald’s and fast food, people get addicted to alcohol.

I'm sorry I have to chime in again, because there's advice being given that's not only bad but costly.

In regards to investing in stocks, you DO NOT want to use those brokerages mentioned, they have monthly fees in some cases, extremely high transaction fees, exchange rates fees, and more.

If you're going to invest your money on the stock market you want to do it through Degiro. This is who I invest through, it has no fees until you're buying stock, but even then you're paying pence to buy shares.

Im not going to post a referral link because you should do your own research.

As for what to invest in, once again you would be mad to invest in crypto currencies that bubble burst in September/October last year.

If you want to make money you want to invest in the future, the EV market, A.I, Augmented Reality, Alternate Energy. Where is the world heading and invest in those markets.

Here's a tip for you, NIO is a Chinese EV car maker. Tonight after the bell rings on the NYSE stock exchange they're going to release their quartley earnings.

If you download Yahoo Finance and search the ticket ( NIO ) or on Google you'll see they're about £7 a share. Once the market opens today at 2:30pm it will start to dip losing money as investor sell their shares worried it's not going to be profitable.

It is going to be profitable as NIO is backed by the Chinese government. If you buy on the dip ( when it's red ) NIO has a projected share price of around £60 a share within 12 months.

If you invested just £500 you'll look to make £4200+ by this time next year. If NIO leads the market and sells to 2 billion Chinese that figure will £20,000 in 3 years on a £500 investment.

This is just EV cars, there's a world of possibilities to invest in. I have shares in pharmaceuticals, semi conductor chips, candaian cannabis farms ( for medical purposes ) and more.

If you really want to make money you invest, no one ever got rich doing dumb surveys on Swagbucks or keeping their money in a bank.

Get rich quick?? But its so much easier to make money OFFLINE.
Seriously though, a moderate amount of my income is made online, and I'm sure as hell not going to tell any Tom, Dick and Harry how to take that off me.

I would like to say:a) Be careful with matchbetting if you're not …I would like to say:a) Be careful with matchbetting if you're not confident in what you're doing.b) The list of P2P lenders seems a bit unusual. Check them out entirely, make sure they have a security fund and see if they're registered with P2PFA. Some P2P companies like AssetzCapital are protected by FSCS. Others are not.c) Avoid eToro.

Not necessarily correct. No P2P lenders are protected by FSCS

Meh - after reading through the comments I think I'll stick to TCB/Quidco (I'd forgotten to use Checkout Smart/ClickSnap until recently and managed to earn £4.25, and a free yogurt, in just two days with barely any hassle)

Beware matched betting. I was a star maths student at school and thought it looked easy. Made a quick £300 and then almost lost it on a final bet where I messed up the process - fortunately in my favour but it could easily have gone the other way. If you do want to try, you'll need solid maths, even with programs to help, and be prepared for the adrenaline rush of "WTF am I doing, this seems sketchy" to kick in while you're doing your bets - this can make you commit errors especially when time is of the essence securing the best odds and betting on them quickly. Not for the faint hearted.

I've found survey sites pay peanuts for the time put in and the endless corporate vibe of filling out consumer surveys can be soul destroying. Maybe makes sense if you really are skint and also unemployed.

Respect to the OP (I'm sitting here in a very nice t-shirt bought through one of their deals a few years ago, thanks!) but cryptocurrency and forex trading need to be warned about the most.

The whole world around crypto is a mad wild west, with disinformation and mailicious parties everywhere. Unless you've got a really good tip then at best you're just gambling. At worst you could be conned into losing your money instantly by who knows what denizen of the darknet. I have 6 years experience with bitcoin and the like and advise to leave well alone.

Forex trading mades sense if you've really done your homework, understanding terms like "bull market", "shorting" etc. and preferably have a large amount of capital to invest on the surer returns for a low percentage, with a longterm strategy (over years). If you haven't got a spare 10 grand then you'll be tempted by the higher risk stuff and, being a newbie, you'll lose your money like so many others. Like crypto there are also a huge number of sharks waiting to prey on uninformed people dipping their toe into these waters.

On a personal level, as a pub frequenter, I've overheard so many conversations where a (usually) young man is boasting to his friends about his success and plans with forex/crypto. They never sound like they know what they are on about and stats suggest most of them will lose money or only make a pittance. These are not unknown things - quite the opposite - and as said before there are people licking their lips out there waiting for newly-seduced newcomers perhaps like some readers of this thread.

    Warning over! (edited)
