sorted byIF you have seen this or watched a poor quality Thai rip of it.. please do not post the ending of the Endgame, as a lot of us have not seen it yet!!
No spoilers from me
Scratching my head here trying to figure out what you lot are on about! Spare me my misery and DM me!
I've seen this film twice in the cinema, and have absolutely no idea who or what you're talking about
I know exactly who you are referring to.
It's a shame because it seems the future of the MCU Is going in the direction of this character.
Welcome to HUKD’s
Great first post
It was expectantly spoiled by ONE person in particular. One or two ludicrous scenes - involving that person - spoilt it for me. Without pandering to that one person it would have been flawless
Dear god that one scene. It was so bad it almost felt like a parody
There's a few comments in a similar vein. Captain Marvel is a bit of a douche tbf, although I couldn't care less if she becomes a main character, just as long as it is organic, and not to fit this whole 'girl power' narrative sweeping Hollywood.
Anyone who says she runs the film really needs to evaluate their priorities.
They've been triggered because one of the characters is too powerful.
Exactly. And it's going to get worse, despite KNOWING what damage they will cause to a ludicrously profitable series.
I for one will stop going (and I have went to see them ALL - every one - at the cinema and bought most of the Blurays) and I know I'll NOT be in a small minority. The small minority will be the one demanding these idiocies or defending them
Well said. My wife echoed you when she said "Jesus wept. What was the point of that ????"
I knew something as idiotic as that would be done in the movie, but not as mindlessly pathetic as that.
The Russo brothers ? I have a feeling it was shoehorned in without their knowledge or permission to please guess who
I don't have a huge issue with them trying to do something like that, but I do have an issue with how badly it was done. I agree it felt like a parody and really annoyed me as I was engrossed in the film up until that point but that scene took me out of it.....at a very important moment!
i bet someone will tell you a spoiler before that or you will end up reading a spoiler somewhere
To an extent, I agree with you, but how long can you reasonably expect to avoid spoilers? It’s unrealistic to expect people not to talk about a film that’s been out for 2 weeks. If you were that desperate to not have the film spoiled, you should have seen it by now. Even the Russo brothers have said that the ‘spoiler ban’ ended yesterday, along with the trailer dropping for the new Spider-Man film that gives away what happened to one of the characters in Endgame.
Go and see it?
Only discussing the film in chatrooms and forums isn't realistic due to the nature of modern media and people in general. I had to studiously avoid spoilers online (which was quite tiresome) and almost had the film spoiled by a Mum on the school run! How far back would you go with a spoiler embargo? Fight Club, Empire Strikes Back, Citizen Kane...?
Maybe until it's released onto digital to rent? I don't know, but I think that if you haven't seen it within the first few months you really couldn't have been that bothered to see it in the first place, so it's fair game.
Again how many people see anything in the first few months? Or are born to see it?
If there is a big twist or major spoiler I just don't understand why it ever needs to be blurted out. Maybe ask "hey have you seen The Usual Suspects?" And if someone says no don't then say oh well spoiler alert and immediately blurt out the twist.
Obviously people have different opinions on things but I think purposely stating major spoilers on an open forum isn't good manners no matter the duration
I've added this to todays 'Highlights'
What do you mean, please explain more
People are referring to how the MCU has diversified, and the whole woman grouping together bit (not a spoiler)
It is valid to an extent, as it does seem that they are pandering to certain demographics. Nothing wrong with diversity, it would just be nice for characters to get over with audiences organically.
Hope that makes sense.
Far From Home was one of the trailers when I took my Mrs n son.
'Hey remember that really shocking poignant scene where the kid dies and turns to dust right in front of a bereft Tony Stark? Wouldn't it be grand to give viewers a taste of the kid's next adventure before we resolve that issue?'.
People can talk about it but probably in a specific place like an endgame forum or chat group. In my opinion no movie or TV show should ever be spoiled especially in an open forum. Not everyone can afford the cinema and must wait for home release.
As it goes I didn't see IW until bluray release and didn't get spoiled at all. I wouldn't expect to be spoiled here for Endgame either. Just as well I saw it as soon as it came out.
I didn't go to the toilet. Are you talking about Captain Marvel? Why couldn't you just say that? Saying she's in it isn't a spoiler
Erm not a chance. One of the best it not best ever. It walked all over IW
You never sighed at any point during that 3 hours and 1 minute? Near the end pehaps? (edited)
