To celebrate the 15-year anniversary of QubicGames, we’re giving 10 of our games away for free to anyone owning other games of ours. And just in time for the holiday season.

Each day, 1 game is listed as a free download and you have 24 hours to get it before the next game becomes available.

The 10-game giveaway lasts between Tuesday, December 10th, 2019 and Tuesday, December 24th, 2019.
24296-S9ObR.jpgJust think of it as a chain reaction. You need to keep up and download each game for free on the day it’s available in order to make sure the next day’s game turns into a free download for you.

For example: If you want to get game (4) One Strike as a free download on December 18th, your Nintendo account library will need to have games (1) Robonauts, (2) Geki Yaba Runner and (3) Puzzle Book added to it. If you are missing ANY of those 3 previous games in your library on you won’t see One Strike as a free download on December 18th.

To ensure everyone has a chance to take part, we’re making it easier to get started. So from Tuesday December 10th to Sunday, December 15th the first game on our giveaway list, Robonauts, will be available for free download to anyone who already has at least one released QubicGames title added to the Nintendo profile*.

After that though, each game on the list will ONLY be available for 24 hours, so make sure you grab it as soon as it’s available

Each game is only available for 1 specific day of the giveaway (except Robonauts, the first title which will be available for free for the first 5 days). After that, the next game on the list becomes available as a free download and the previous day/s games are no longer a free download.

    Robonauts is great, gets very hard towards the end - played One Strike as well a while ago and it’s a solid game, a fun concept - great deal.

    Some of the games they have published are actually really fun little titles. Particularly Robonauts, REKT, Mana Spark and Blazing Beaks (this one's fantastic).

    - Robonauts is a gravity based arcade shooter. short but has some solo and multiplayer modes.

    - REKT is a skateboarding style retro aesthetic car game where you perform tricks for the best scores. Also 4 player co-op mode.

    - Mana Spark is a pixel based rogue lite akin to binding of Isaac. a good 2 hours gameplay in this one.

    - Blazing Beaks is another Roguelike that is very similar to enter the gungeon. Great diffuclty spike, lovely co-op multiplayer and comes with a variety of co-op party games that are nearly as fun as the main game.

    I don't like everything they put out but there are some gems in there! (edited)

    Thanks for this OP, Been the best advent calendar I've ever had Some of the games are a bit naf but quite a few of them are enjoyable. Shame there isn't one for tomorrow

    I believe that all of these games are actually decent, just not fantastic. You may however find something that you really like, my eye is on Mana Spark, so you can't grumble with free.

    Yup! I forgot too but then I went to purchase the missed game as its 89p only and then for some reason I had 50 gold points which reduced the price by 50p and its well worth it. Got today's one free after that.

    I'm filtering on games by Qubic in the eShop and the one with 100% off that day stands out and I download it - I assume though they'd announce the mystery game elsewhere at the time.

    Need help - I've bought a switch for the kids for Christmas. Is there a way to set up an account with the console still in the box and save games to the account and then download the games in Christmas day.
    Maybe asking a stupid question but any help would be appreciated. Thanks

    But they could create an account on the website to purchase the games in advance then log in to that account on Xmas day and the games will download? (edited)

    Don’t need to. You can download Colouring Book for free then get Robonauts for free then get the daily freebies including Mana Spark free on the 23rd. No need to buy anything. (edited)

    This link worked! I had "bought" Coloring Book from my MacBook browser window, but I couldn't get Robonauts to show up as free, it kept showing as $3.99 on the link from the Giveaway page, but using your link it showed up as £0.00 so thank you.

    I think the link on the Giveaway page took me to a Nintendo.com page where the amount was definitely $3.99 whereas your link took me to the Nintendo.co.uk UK eShop page where I was able to buy for £0.00 so this is probably where we will need to go for future titles in this deal, for anybody having this issue. Thanks again for helping me and others out!

    I think it's more likely they'll make money off people checking the download chart, seeing loads of these games high up it due to this campaign, and selling thousands at £2 quid a pop to those curious why it's so high and missed the freebie.

    Can't really blame them, games development is a hard gig and 2 or 3 of these games are decent enough distractions. It's a very smart campaign, I'm just surprised Nintendo would allow the system to be hacked - these are pretty average games and the charts should represent the best the eshop has to offer.

    Yes - once you've used your account on the eShop on the console once, you can then use the web version for future purchases.
