Morning
I've just been reading about these encyclopedia offerings on itch.io from DaddaRuleKonge, which I think are fantastic for anybody who fancies a read on some of the classic gaming consoles and their games featured in the list below. I've directed above to DaddaRuleKonge's itch.io page which also includes a few more encyclopedias including Collecting POP! vinyl figures and Look at Point-and-click Adventure Games
I was particularly interested to hear...
"I have made around 350-400 bucks since late 2014 across all platforms where I have released the PDF/books Maybe I should have used my time creating an iOS flappy birds clone instead "
All the books are free if you do wish to claim them, but there are possibilities to donate to DaddaRuleKonge before downloading
The books are in PDF format, but are easily convertable for your chosen eReaders using tools.
The highlighted encyclopedia books are...
The PlayStation 2 Encyclopedia
The Arcade "Encyclopedia" 1977-1979
the Sega Saturn Encyclopedia Book
the Game Boy Encyclopedia Book
the Atari 2600 Encyclopedia Book
the Vectrex Encyclopedia Book
the Atari 7800 Encyclopedia Book
the Atari Jaguar Encyclopedia Book
the MegaDrive/Genesis Encyclopedia Book
the VirtualBoy Encyclopedia Book
the GameCube Encyclopedia Book
the SNES Encyclopedia Book
the Sega CD/32X Encyclopedia Book
the Neo-Geo Encyclopedia Book
the N64 Encyclopedia Book
The PlayStation Encyclopedia Book
the NES Encyclopedia Book
the Sega Master System Encyclopedia Book

This guy is a legend. I don't understand 90% of the technical stuff he goes into but it's fascinating stuff.
I've linked above to the full catalogue offered by DaddaRuleKonge, although admittedly I could have been a bit clearer with the link
Pity you can't get the PS2 files without creating an account.
I may as well share my research here. For cataloguing games I use Snupps, I like Collectorz, however it's not free. CGCollect is feature rich, I just don't like the interface, same with Darkadia. Delicious Library is great, but Mac only. Does any one else have cataloguing/database suggestions?
Thank you heat added
I wouldn't bother with the Pop one. It's 5 years old and the values of the pops on the one page shown are $100-200 lower than they are now.
I wonder if a high refresh monitor would help, something 120hz perhaps?
Thanks for the suggestion, is something that i have been curious to try but havent had anyway to test it as of yet! In theory it should atleast make some difference! I just seem to be on the worst end of the spectrum unfortunately but havent given up hope yet! Would love to get some Doom or Shenmue 3 on the go some day! :P
