sorted byIf you have GPU then EA Play is included in it, so EA Play codes will convert to GPU. 12 months of EA Play gives 4 months GPU.

Exactly the same thing happened to me. Trying to get Microsoft support to understand what had happened was a massive pain. Got it sorted after 3 or so chats. It's a great deal but I won't be risking it again.
If you got ultimate as long as it isn't stacked for 3 years, every 12 months of EA Access you add will just convert to 4 months ultimate instead

4 months is correct. I presume you're talking about when ea play converted 1:1 to game pass ultimate? It was a glitch so short lived.
I had 3 years of ea play, which was cancelled, but they only added the 4 months.

You can do 12 months, that is the EA access limit.
You just can't buy it.
You need Game pass ultimate for it to convert into it. Check the dashboard there is sometimes a £1 upgrade

Yes mate defo keep trying because they will eventually sort it out. They will have a history of your chats so will know that its been dragging on so should make it more of a priority.
I don’t think so all the conversions (upgrades) I’ve seen are based on GPU.
Just a quick tip - always redeem these kind of codes through the Redeem option in the store using your Xbox. This process seems a lot more reliable than other methods. (edited)

Yes it should convert to 4 months if you apply the EA code after youre subscribing to GPU but I dont know the best deals if you dont already have game pass ultimate
For instance Ive seen MS offer a month and even 3 months for £1 for new sign ups.
Also back in the day months of xbox gold were converted into GPU when you sign up - you'll need to check around for the best way of getting months if you dont have a current GPU sub (edited)
Yes, though you also need to own any dependencies it might have.

Yup, I just bought 3 codes and got 12 months of GPU for approx £50.00
Not sure I want to risk buying another code and it not work though.
