And only one person needs to own the game, your friend can download and play with you for free.
Major nelson streamed this last night and said it wasn’t coming to GP. Doesn’t mean it won’t, but not day one.
This will NOT be on Game Pass on day one, it might be on EA Play Pro. If not, it will eventually end up on normal EA Play, which is bundled with Game Pass now anyway.
EA Play is bundled with Game Pass, but not the Pro version, which is the one that has all the new releases.
Meanwhile on PSN it's £35 😫
But slightly less stupid considering I got a refund with no hassle whatsoever, great find!!

Nah its ea they never drop on day 1 or havent yet and what with a physical release as well i very much doubt you'll see it on gp for over 6 months.
As posted, code doesn't work yet but the error code mentions catalog sku, which probably just means it isn't listed on the store yet.
The old 'change console location to New Zealand' trick might work I guess (or whatever it is).

I think it is/can be because unknowingly my region was set to US when I redeemed my code and the purchase amount actually shows as $0.00 in my history.
Also, for anyone looking for people to play with, looking for group in the multiplayer tab of the official club is a good way to party up. (edited)

I'm playing with my 10 year old daughter and we are both loving the game. Fantastic level design and puzzles. I can see this winning plenty of awards.
The only negative being the base story. A very strange decision by the developers. It's nauseating at times and even my daughter wants to skip the cut scenes (which you can't). I genuinely have no idea how, with the foundations of a such great game, someone, somewhere came up with this god awful story.
So it's a 9/10 score from me, would have been a solid 10 had they stuck to a less contrived story.
