Sony also announced Wednesday that it is working with a variety of independent studios to make their games available for free to those with a PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The new drop starts on March 25 and consists of eight indie games, four of which are for PlayStation VR. The titles include:

So if you buy a Playstation 5 and a PS sub, given the 20 Plus games and now these 10 games on top you have some of the best titles available and don't need to spend any money for basically forever.

Based on the trend, it should be:
MS - "have loads of games when you subscribe to GP"
Sony - "have some free games"
Nintendo - "we will pay you to play some games".
This is objectively one of, if not the best non-pc game freebies ever, only one has been on ps plus and 2 are on ps now. Just need a workaround for the ps5’s lack of a lightbar for vr... (edited)- What the actual ***

These games are free. The ones on Gamepass (amazing value as it is) are not free.
You don't need to crap on the opposition in order to promote your chosen platform. Xbox and PlayStation will both do fine this gen.

And those posts routinely and deservedly get a lot of heat. The bigger games get a lot of heat, even if they're older.

Has HZD been updated for the PS5? 60fps?
Nope. There is a performance mode but even that hovers at just around 30-40.
Honestly it was jarring for me to play it, I've gotten used to 60fps since getting my series X and ps5. But it's worth playing even without 60fps.- No surprise the main game is from PS Now... Pretty bad that it recently got added as a main monthly game then gets given away free... Sorry but its just ridiculous, Sony really likes giving the middle finger to their subscribers. Abzu also on PS Now, Witness PS+. Subnautica might give that a try. This is great if don't subscribe to their services, disappointing if you do like me. Yea I'm moaning about free games.... Whatever.

The average punter doesn't even know about this thread/let alone today's offer on Horizon. I just stumbled across the deal while browsing ps4 games on the PS store.
I did post a direct deal to Horizon but the powers that be merged it with this deal.
I think a separate deal for Horizon would make more people aware unlike this thread you know mums and dads, aunts and uncles etc.

A tenner each is a bit much, some of them maybe... but using your argument of 'hardly generous' this drop along is a free 100 quid of gaming!
How is that not good value???
