sorted byJust buy 2x £50 cards. You’ll have to go through the checkout twice but still works and works out at £83ish from a reputable source
Yes
Just read through the official announcements. It looks like originally the PS5 upgrade wasn't going to be free, but they backtracked after complaints.
Original statement:
For players looking to have access to both the PS4 & PS5 versions of Horizon Forbidden West, please purchase the Digital Deluxe, Collector’s, or Regalla Editions. Dual entitlement does not apply to the standard and Special Editions.
Followed by:
"...it’s abundantly clear that the offerings we confirmed in our pre-order kickoff missed the mark.
Last year we made a commitment to deliver free upgrades for our cross-gen launch titles, which included Horizon Forbidden West. While the pandemic’s profound impact pushed Forbidden West out of the launch window we initially envisioned, we will stand by our offer: Players who purchase Horizon Forbidden West on PlayStation 4 will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free." I'd personally go for this website. Have had dud codes from Gamivo BUT they were fairly quick to refund BUT sometimes would only give credit back not the cash. IMO it's not worth the risk.
OP you may want to change the title from £45.99 to £50? (edited)
So I’ve grabbed the credit from this deal but not used it yet. No harm just sitting on it with a month before release.

I’m not sure this is true? I think there is a £10 upgrade
If you are a regular customer $41.85 drops down to £41.01 as a gold member discount.
Agreed, OP change the deal to £50 as that saving is 17% rather than the current 9% HUKD thread is showing
i want to get a good price on gran turismo 7, i dont mind getting that digital. lets see
Bought two £50 top ups from this deal over two separate transactions using PayPal. Redeemed them on the PS5 straight away, no issues. Ready for the stupid digital prices for the Horizon, Dying Light 2 and Wonderlands..
Yes if we're being picky the 17% is for those silver members on ShopTo where the £50 top up is £41.43 (rather than £41.85). Otherwise just a 16% saving
They have mortal kombat 11 ultimate on sale.. just imagine plating as rambo or the terminator
Mine is there there 2yrs after adding it on I believe. (edited)
That’s because Sony are not presenting the information in the PS5 store in an honest transparent manner: blog.playstation.com/2021/09/04/pre-order-horizon-forbidden-west-now-collectors-and-digital-deluxe-editions-detailed/ (edited)
I agree. Horizon Forbidden West should simply be a £60 PS4+PS5 dual entitlement game on the digital store. I love Playstation for the games, but Sony are just awful in terms of customer experience, at least compared to Xbox. This needs sorting ASAP or they risk losing customers to Xbox. (edited)
or use the virtual visa card without needing any kind of crypto currency
Maybe you can help me.
So I know on stores, it says theres a digital upgrade if you buy the physical ps4 copy. And on the PSN store, you can buy a version that states you get BOTH PS4 and PS5.
But if I buy the PS4 version, at £59.99, am I able to upgrade that to PS5?
Because it doesn't explicitly say, and that makes me a smidge nervous buying it (unless they are of course purposefully witholding that information to make a few extra pound, the scallywags).
Far as I am aware you buy that version you will get the free upgrade. There’s no other option I see via app or console.
Yeah, I did the same. And reading that, despite how it's displayed on the PSN store, this is fairly concrete I would have thought...
"Players who purchase Horizon Forbidden West on PlayStation 4 will be able to upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free."
Doesn't specify version.
But aye as you say, have the credit now. Ideally for this, but it will get used regardless. Cheers
CDKeys have generally been ok with the PSN credits and I put the price comparison against them as opposed to the full £50.
If you wanted a good price you would buy disk one then, even with this deal £69.99 on psstore is too expensive. Disk will cost you around £50 when it comes out.
“I also want to confirm today that moving forward, PlayStation first-party exclusive cross-gen titles (newly releasing on PS4 & PS5)–both digital and physical*–will offer a $10 USD digital upgrade option from PS4 to PS5.”
Cool, I might wait, I don’t trust Sony
That's 2 x £50 vouchers purchased. I might have to do a couple more tomorrow as we have forbidden west and GT7 coming out soon.
Just realised that this is from ShopTo who have a 12 PS Plus code for £41.85…might as well just buy that
thanks anyway mate 🏼
Yes. But no rush as it's not out until March. May as well wait for reviews.
They always have some form of discount on PS credit, but this particularly good one will likely disappear soon.
Wanting to buy the digital versions of Borderlands Tiny Tina's Wonderland, Dying Light 2 and Horizon Forbidden West all releasing in the next couple months
or use this to buy from turkey store? (edited)
