You replace the 97801 with 50450750 & the last 4 digits are the PIN, then go to tescogiftcards.com/bal…eck & once the balance is on screen you get an add to Google pay button!
You can use NFC (I believe) or display the barcode (I do this).
Turning the brightness up on your phone usually works for me
Cheers.
Yes, you do have to be in store (unless someone else can confirm otherwise?). When you get to the till, make sure you have scanned your clubcard and any other coupons, then open Google Pay - personally I say no to turning on NFC, scroll down to the voucher, tap it & the barcode will appear on screen - present it to the cashier.
Just watch - I suspect that it may expire tonight or over the weekend at best (Google Pay shows the balance - I expect it should update if it expires, but again not 100% sure).
Good luck
Thank you so much - that comment made my day & I kept meaning to say thank you. (edited)
Yes, if you take a screenshot before it dissapears
Screenshots have worked every time so far with these Tesco offers, including several days later. And it’s worked on any purchase not just the items stated on the offer.
The Costa codes can also be screen shot and used later, but they will expire the following week IME
Yes they are. I asked the same question earlier and was told that it did work fine after the 1 hour timer.
Just be sure to screenshot it as the code will disappear after the hour (but will still work though). When going to pay click on 'gift card' and scan the bar code & make sure to turn up the brightness up so the self-serve can read & scan it easily (edited)
I used mine 3 hours after taking screenshot and had no issues if that helps
Veryme is only for mobile customers:
No they piggyback off Vodafone but if you have broadband from virgin you can get o2 priority free so I have both now.

Didn't take long for the 'got any spare chane guv'' crowd to come out
You can have one code for each deal you've posted
Better off using it yourself to buy £2.65 of groceries and putting them in the foodbank
Yes and on that note,. Does anyone have one spare I am starving and I can't even afford a slice of bread I'm walking around London barefooted, the kids are all starving little timmy is dying , he.needs surgery, etc etc (edited)
Stop poncing
EDIT: code gone (edited)
I can only presume they feel having "author" next to their name makes it more likely someone will give them their code when they ask for one.
I dont mind if it was on a separate thread, but on the actual deal thread its very annoying. For example the info on how to get these to scan on picky self service checkouts will be buried before long
Just watch, there are folk who trawl these threads & will PM you every time the codes are about. I don't mind sharing codes (note I'm on Lebara not Vodafone now) when it is things that are niche, but these are akin to cash!
Didn't work for me
Fair enough if they were issuing unlimited number of codes. But they aren't, so you're taking one away from another Vodafone customer.
Now we don't know for whom times are harder.
But there are people who seem to have plenty of time to pop on here every week begging for codes. Moreover, recently we've had some of them arguing over who'd posted the deal first (as I presume if you post the deal you're more likely to get codes of people when you ask).
On the other hand you have someone who is actually shelling out for their Vodafone contract.
I know which one I'd prefer gets the code if we're purely looking at who to help out, without knowing who's actually worse off and could do with the code.
Anyway, main issue is you can't find any info on the threads, as they are flooded with begging. Ok if you know all about the deal, but not so great when you want to know something (expiry, if the product was any good, etc, etc).
There should be an "EXTREMELY helpful" option
Thank you!
Couldn't get self service till to scan it so went to manual till and they scanned it with no issues (edited)
Thanks Op on Vodafone clalimed will use tommorrow
This might be the answer to this kind of begging in future.
Only give if they are active on site
Some of these threads are getting ridiculous. Useful info, like if the vouchers expire, is getting lost under the deluge of begging posts.
I think the answer is to have separate threads for begging.
Given this site clamps down on referrals/etc as it disrupts threads, I’m not sure why the begging for codes is allowed
Well, that's probably a bad example, as those user referrals are also losing HUKD's money. So they nip that in the bud straight away
A better example is the change in rules over political/religious/etc discussions. Lots more threads get "tidied up" because those discussions derail the thread. IMO allowing the begging for certain deals is just as bad. They can still get the traffic, just separate it into "begging threads" like they do for O2 etc.
I generally know ins/outs of most of the Voda deals, but every now and then I actually want to know something about a deal and it gets lost in endless people posting with their hand out.
I don't understand people arguing over who posted first. Who even cares?! 🤷🏻♂️ I gave up long ago trying to post deals on here tbh mate. Go to do it and someone's already got there before me, so I gave up trying in the end 🙈 😏 LOL!
I do contribute though and give helpful & friendly advice whenever I can
Yep, there is an expiry date, but I don't know what it is - should be a few days at least.
Happy Days! (edited)
You can use it towards your shopping
Lucky you.
What a clever boy you are
Have same issue at mine. Self serve tills often won’t scan digital barcodes. Won’t even scan my Clubcard most of the time, which is bloody annoying given they’ve started to do Clubcard deals. Really taking the P
