Just bought this for me and the kids as we had the renewal email come through, big saving compared to the auto renewal price. Not sure if you can stack these but I can't see why not as it just extended my current account expiry date.

    IIRC you get a trial of NSO with a new Switch to use first.

    Pretty much. The only way to get a discount going from Individual to Family is via Nintendo (the calculation is based on how many days you have remaining)

    Regarding the expansion pack, I read a few times about buying 2 family memberships rather than a family + Nintendo's pro rata upgrade.

    Can you recall which is better value, or have I picked up the thing about 2x family memberships wrong? (edited)

    Tbh, following that I'd recommend buying a slot from a shared membership plan on here, fwiw the Expansion level membership is only a few pounds more a year that way.

    I think they give you 8p per day left as discount so would be £29.20 off the £59.99 full price
