The cover is terrible, constantly comes off, would be better if it was designed to have hooks that connect to the frame

    Yes mine is the same.

Anyone know of a place to get replacement cushions? Have the exact one but from Argos, guessing genetically made.

Aldi do sell them online but they’re pretty hit and miss as to when they’re on the website. Just keep looking.

Went to homebase and saw something similar. With the 20% off at the moment it was cheaper than this too.

I bought the homebase one last month at £300 - I was also holding out for the Aldi one to come back in stock online but when it didn't I decided to get the homebase one instead. Haven't really had too much chance to use it because the weather has been trash around these parts but I think it's a nice piece of kit.

In my opinion the rattan design is nicer on the homebase one and it also has a glass table top rather than an extra cushion so somewhere to put my beer. Also, purely going on the pictures, the homebase one looks like it has nicer cushions. Also bought a £20 heavy plastic cover which seems to have done the trick so far seen as it's rained alot since I bought it.

I obviously paid about £30 more all-in than for the Aldi one but I'm happy with it. Hope that helps. (edited)

It's good quality for the price. The cover has been fine for me. The bigger issue is that it gets water on and sits. Tried packing it out underneath but doesn't really work. That said. Taken it off and everything is good underneath

Best way to stop this is to put an umbrella pole in the middle and try stack chairs when not in use

You will then have a teepee shape and the water will run off to the sides

Only useful for prolonged times of not using them though

Haven't found a quick solution for this so far

Would be much more useful if it came with a glass top so that the footrest could be a table.

Still waiting for my replacement covers from them since they said they was a fire hazard

In their boxes are these small enough to get in a standard car out of interest ? Half tempted to go click and collect but concerned they won’t fit in my car
    heedrick's avatar
I would say you'd need a van, I have a large estate and wouldn't even try to fit it in there.

    Any good ?

Got ours last year. It’s rusted but seems to be holding up ok. Will see how it is next year. There’s a three year warranty.

    £296 in homebase at moment

Reposting my comment from the same thread last year... ( hotukdeals.com/dea…028 )

We bought 2 of these last year, and they are good for the price point. They're not the most comfortable, but you'll pay 4x the price for something that is.

Be aware that the outside rain cover IS NOT waterproof so you have to take the cushions inside every night. The cover does stop the 'ratan' from going green / getting covered in leaves - however don't be surprised to find it half way across the garden on a windy night.

At the end of the day you get what you pay for - this is excellent at £200-£250, but is not comparable to a £1k proper ratan outside set with a proper waxed outside cover.

Yeah the cover is iffy it also collects water on top. You're best to put the cushions away and keep the rattan exposed.

Check sizes of these or see in store before buying. I bought a chair and table set instead since all of these corner sofas are tiny like they're made for children

I'm selling this used as upgraded to premium sofa.

How much should I sell this for used. Great condition comes with cover...

    150?

It’s the replacement seat covers Im waiting for as I left mine out all winter even though they were bagged and under a cover . They are now stained with mildew luckily the weather has been crap.

I have seen £200 for the same sort of corner sofa this summer! Price has gone down drastically with this price you could buy a garden dining set with a proper table

This was £199 summer 2019 , which I know is 3 ago years ago but ….
It’s ok to use , quite small, overall comfortable

My only comment is the cushions are rather thin, had mine for 2-3 years now and the actual thing is amazing but just a bit uncomfortable
