About this deal

I've been looking at these lightweight chairs to take with me when I'm biking and this one seems to be the best one with anti sink feet and an included slip mat.

Also it is bigger and heavier than most of the others and has anti sink feet if you don't use it with that mat.

Oh and it also gets good reviews and is available in other colours.

  • LIGHTWEIGHT CHAIR WITH GROUND MAT: Travel light and relax in comfort with the Hawk Lightweight Folding Chair. When stored inside its bag, it measures 38cm x 14cm x 12cm and weighs 1.65kg, making it super lightweight and compact to carry when you’re camping, hiking, and more. Plus, it comes with a ground mat to use on softer ground.
  • WIDE FEET & GROUND MAT FOR ALL TERRAINS: The chair has extra-wide feet for superior stability and includes a nylon mesh ground mat to protect it from sinking into soft, wet ground or sand. The mat can be easily secured to the chair using its retaining strap. In addition, it has reinforced loops and corner pockets to securely attach it to the legs and feet.
  • FAST & EASY TO SET UP. Like tent poles, the frame and leg poles are connected by shock-cords with pre-attached connectors. As well as making it easy to collapse into a compact size, this allows you to set the chair up in seconds. When assembled, it measures H64cm x W54cm x L56cm (approx.) and can support a max load of 120kg (just under 19 stone).
  • SUPREME STRENGTH & COMFORT: The frame and legs are made from steel for optimum strength and are powder-coated for rust-resistance. Durability is enhanced by an attachable 600D PVC coated polyester seat with a solid back for ultimate comfort, lumbar support, and warmth in cooler weather. Plus, it has mesh side panels to keep you cool in warmer weather.
  • ZIPPED BAG & SECURITY POCKET: As well as allowing you to easily store and carry the chair, the included storage bag doubles up as a zipped security pocket. Simply secure it to the front legs of the chair to keep your phone, money, and other valuables safely by your side. Oh, and if the chair and mat get dirty? Just wipe or rinse them under running water.

Aldi get these in every year with the camping gear for around £15. We'll worth it.

The quality isn't as good and doesn't include the ground mat (essential for sand, etc.).

I have a similar one but with the higher back. They are ok - if you are "bigger boned" you might find it a bit snug. The only really annoying thing is because they are lightweight they blow around if you don't weight them down. If you are on a beach you can fill the storage bag with sand and hook it under the seat to help keep down. (edited)

    I'd just sit on it.

This type of chair is massively improved with four half tennis balls, one on the end of each leg.

My dad has this. But the time he’s put it together we are all ready to leave the beach…. But then can’t as we have to wait for him to pack it away again …… 🥱

I've had a few different types of these and find them surprisingly comfortable, especially at festivals as they're a tad lower and I can stretch my legs out.

Are these particularly comfortable? They don't look it.

I borrowed two similar design last year to watch Royal Philharmonic at Battersea Park, they were surprisingly comfy, and very lightweight. Ideal for that scenario. I'll probably get two of these myself.

don't think you can use it without the ground mat, these things sink like the titanic

These are great design, I don’t have this brand but suspect they are mostly the same, for this price way better than those classic camp chairs

Similar price too. I love it. Great on cycling trips. Small enough to fit into pannier.

The Go Outdoors one is a fair bit lighter than this. This deal is about a 3rd of the weight of yours heavier.

I got two of these (blue version) for £19.99 each on Amazon a few weeks before last Christmas. (edited)

These are very well made and comfortable. The sand mat works well too. Heat.
