I spent quite a while on the chat to O2, useless and tried to up-sell me to a qualifying 24 month 30gb tariff with inclusive travel zone. As I read it the Volt benefit doubles data and adds inclusive travel zone regardless of amount of data in the base tariff. If you look on the Virgin media site and select more information on one the TV/Broadband/Mobile bundle there is a package that includes an O2 5gb data, doubled to 10gb and the Volt benefits include inclusive travel zone. This is consistent with what Random1234 says above - so if you qualify for Volt then you should get travel included with this deal.

Tethering is available for the full 30/45gb, spoke to them on the phone when this offer was last available the non-sharing is regarding family plans etc

I took a gamble after contacting 02.
Advised it should be ok if allowed to go through. I asked for a note to be added to my account to state I'd be refunded if charged for the change.

For me it seems about the same, it's all dependant on where you live really, I'd suggest finding someone who's on o2 in your area and check the speeds for 4g/5g(if your device has 5g)

if you want to keep your number you need to ask 3 to give you your PAC. Buy this deal and then give that to o2 who will port your number over. If you cancel direct with 3 you will lose your number.

I got 99p sim cards from all operators recently and tried them all. O2 and EE were the best for my area, but EE don't have EU roaming so a big NO from me

Once you click through the uswitch website, you end up at the O2 website. You need to login to your O2 account and make sure you select your existing number.

You can login to your O2 account on a separate browser tab beforehand too.

Just done same. 20Gb is way too much for me anyway, so 30Gb would just be superfluous

Yes you do if you sign up again, I was on 15gb for £8 and signed up again and bingo, now showing 30gb
