I’ve used Netflix directly to subscribe to turkey Netflix from UK. When my card expired initially found it hard to add my new card but it was a easy fix. Those that are having trouble updating the existing card. Try this:

    1. Cancel the existing turkey subscription you have.
    2. Resubscribe to UK cheapest Netflix option using same login and add your new Uk card.
    3. After a few days cancel the UK subscription, wait till the subscription paid length has ended, set VPN turkey and login using same Netflix details and get the turkey price.

Apologies, A7AUR, but your post doesn't make sense.

If one has an existing Turkey subscription, why cancel it?

Points 2 and 3 are getting close but undermined by point 1.

I tried to reactivate a Netflix account with my Revolut attached, but kept asking for Turkish mobile number to confirm payment method.

Added a voucher instead and at the end of the voucher it reverted to charging to the revolut... £3.81 per month.

Just thought I'd share it case it helps anyone.

Same here cancelled my Netflix’s changed payment card to Halifax clarity card but when I went to do it through turkey vpn it wouldn’t except my card so tried a gift card instead then when it ran out just started charging my card so it seems to be a work around if your card isn’t getting accepted when using the turkey vpn (edited)

Why do the Turks get it so much cheaper than the uk

    This is what I did.

    1. Created a new Turkish Netflix account by using a free Chrome VPN plugin (you may have to find a Turkish address)
    2. Bought a 100 Turkish Lira Netflix at Eneba (this is because Netlfix will not accept credit cards in the UK for the a Turkish subscription - this is the key to the work around!)
    3. When the payment that you used with the Turkey Netflix gift card runs out, you will receive an email from them saying you need to change the payment method - this is when you can use the Halifix Clarity card. It's almost like a glitch in the system in the fact that they will accept the foreign card (yours) only after the initial sign up.

This is what I did... hope it helps bro!

I cancelled - it says my membership will end at end of my billing period which is the 8th august. Is it best to wait until after this date to apply this gift card?
    Meltigemini's avatar
I assume you cancelled your UK Netflix sub? You have to wait until it's fully ended (9th August). Then activate your Turkish VPN, then redeem your codes.

That is why Netflix will start charging an extra fee those who use their subscription away from their residence. This deal is not legitimate because it’s not in good faith. (edited)
    randomaccnt's avatar
I wouldn't buy netflix if it wasnt for the cheaper turkey prices. So they're making money from me buying the Turkey sub🤷‍♂️

Paying £3.80 for full Netflix package via Turkey VPN. Paying £1.17 for YouTube premium via Argentina VPN and £3 Deezer Family via Philapines VPN.

    Pretty much the same here.

Used to pay via the Revolut method, but my card expired and it won't let me add a new one. As such, I've been using this method for a few months and it's super easy. Heat from me, I paid £5 for my last code.
    timmyboy147's avatar
Have you tried logging in via your tv and updating your payment method?
  9. farzana.ali's avatar
Do you just buy this on turkey server and can log into Uk server and watch it (eg jusy buying is on turkey server)

Once brought must we log into vpn and watch via turkey vpn ?

Just wondering how to watch on smart tv

I and currently 4 friends sharing, but if we can get cheap between all 4 of us then it’s a bonus
    PaulandPam's avatar
VPN Turkey to rejoin, once joined turn off the vpn and you get the full UK library, obviously if you want to watch another countries library content such as the USA you'll need to connect via a US vpn.
Everything works fine on a smart tv or fire stick type devices, I've been using netflix Turkey for about 6 months now but I pay monthly with my Revolut card. (edited)
  10. pecarlo's avatar
nah thanks, not worth it. i just buy the accounts. had one that lasted me 6 months payed like 3£. theres barely anything on it to watch anyway...

The card I have on my current turkey account is about to expire, how would I go about changing it and would a uk debit card still work? Do I need to vpn back to Turkey to update? (edited)
    dannyboy20's avatar
Mines due to expire next month, just tried adding my new Revolut card but it's asking for SMS confirmation to a Turkish number. Read 2 ways around it, go on Live Chat and they should send you a secure link to update your card (hit and miss with the agent though). Or wait until it expires, log in on your smart TV Netflix app and click update payment on there and it should go through without the SMS confirmation part.

Hi, thanks for sharing. I created Netflix turkey account and purchased all gift cards but able to redeem only 1 card. For other gift cards, getting an error occurred during gift redemption (My plan is set for per month - please suggest if I’m doing anything wrong?)
    Caino1412's avatar
I contacted netflix via online chat and they redeemed all my cards

Can confirm that updating card details on the web didn't work, but it did go through the version of the app on the Virgin TV box. (Just scroll up to the channel that says Netflix, login!)

Okay now until 2025, I think.

which card did you manage to add and was you connected to vpn or without vpn did you manage to add it?

Just added Netflix premium to my Sky package for £5 a month, works really well for us as son is a student so he gets to use it too. Think up to 4 screens at the same time
    Nichnich's avatar
Yeah apart from horrible Murdock, sky is taking people for a ride, they have been raising prices on average 10% a year while charging such high fees they also increased the ads frequency
  21. powerbrick's avatar
It won't be long until they geofence everything, stop password/account sharing and blacklist all VPN providers IPs since they ain't doing so well.
    ooogemaflip's avatar
but then they will lose even more customers. Having someone pay something is better than them paying nothing
  22. Kinio's avatar
Netflix need to feel the pressure. All the latest changes thay make, all price increases and poor service for the money... i would pass on this untill they change how they treat their customers
    p1001's avatar
    Author
That why I'm not willing to pay UK sub prices... The service is worth about £5 a month for me
  23. chapchap's avatar
Is Netflix worth it for a whole year? I don’t think so when I want to catch up on new stuff worth watching ( less and less nowadays on Netflix imho) I just purchase a month cheap from “somewhere”
    CeriH's avatar

    Replying to

I pay £55 a month with sky sports, Netflix and multiroom it is a lot but I like the navigation of it. When my internet contract runs out can add that on too for free which makes it a bit bette
  24. Reggie111's avatar
In my opinion just buy month by month in case they close this loophole.
    PaulandPam's avatar
That's what I used to do as I was also weary incase they closed the loophole, I've now got my Revolut card working so no more voucher worries.
  25. Unsane's avatar
Not voting either way, particularly as TL vouchers are painful to manage.

Take the time to work out how to get Netflix Turkey to debit your underlying UK card, then you're in business.

Netflix are playing around with using your IP address to tag your location.

I have nothing against anyone using this offer but expect some issues within the 12 months if they roll this new IP stuff out to Europe
    Milev's avatar
They wouldn’t dare. I use it with turkish account. If they stop it i will stop using them and will download my content through other means for free. I just pay £5 for the convenience, not for the content itself. Better get £5 than £0 (edited)
  28. dragon97's avatar
Bought from them before and the code was invalid. They were making out it was my problem to deal with when it was sold from their site. Never did get my £10 from them so It's hard for me to say either way.

So if I add a payment method like visa after the voucher it should work?
    Pogsta's avatar
    YES... EXACTLY THAT!

Just to be clear... pay for the 1st month with a Turkish Netflix gift card from Eneba. When that runs out Netflix will email you - select a normal payment method (UK based) and it will go through,

I did this, and there was / is no problem.
  32. BuzzDuraband's avatar
It’s cheaper just to get yourself a Revolut card and pay monthly. I’m currently on £3.77 a month, £45.24 a year.

    47887412_1.jpg

It has been as low as £34.32, currency fluctuation dependant

Yes but with Turkish currency fluctuating as it does the price can still go further down.

    Thanks In advance
    nublets2k's avatar
Yes once the subscription expires, use a vpn to pay using the Revolut card.

We still have an active sub, and it's crap. Netflix has nose dived, especially compared to the competition. My wife kept it on for the kids, but we keep saying we're gonna get rid.

Looking for Youtube premium - any similar guide would be appreciated
    Milev's avatar
Google account address must be set in India
Add your Revolut card to the account and buy it.
You may create a new account if you don’t want to change your primary Google account.
  37. Adhyskonydh's avatar
I purchased a 75 and used it fine, but then bought 100 and netflix wouldn’t accept the code. Any ideas?

    This worked for me
    Turn on VPN
    Logout of Netflix
    Google Netflix turkey redeem
    Follow link and redeem code,
One of my codes still kept failing, I tried after a few hours and it worked.
    Hope it helps

I suspect this will be another loophole that Netflix and other providers close eventually. If they can see all the places you log in and watch (sharing accounts) and are going to take action on this then I am sure they will eventually tie up where you log in (UK) and the country you are paying for (e.g. Turkey). Whilst its easy to explain to them that you are sharing with a family member who is living elsewhere, its much harder to explain to them how you watch Netflix in the UK but have set up to pay elsewhere in the world (e.g. Turkey).
    nublets2k's avatar
If it's a UK Netflix account being watched in UK then it shouldn't get flagged up unless it's being shared, who are they to question where your bank account is?
  39. wutang1980's avatar
Error code tvq-pb-101(1.23). Spoke to Netflix and said they are now using ip addresses and I cannot use the Netflix turkey deal any further. Vpn on computer it still displays but when using uk IP showing I can't play. Any workaround or is it us starting to be rumbled
