Help redeeming Argentina Xbox code.....

I bought an Argentina code and have read the way to redeem it....
install tunnel bear chrome ext but have also tried surfshark

I choose Argentina as location and load up xbox.com which does come to the Argentina site, when I then go to xbox.redeem it takes me to the UK site where the code isnt valid?

can someone explain to me like I'm 5 what I'm doing wrong.

If it's a game redeem here with vpn - redeem.microsoft.com/enter works every time for me, I use Ipvanish or windscribe for vpn.

If it's a gift code go to buy a game on the Argentinian MS store, then choose payment method and then redeem a gift card. Doesn't need a vpn. You don't have to purchase the game but it let's you redeem the gift card.

Nevermind i sorted it. Its tunnelbear. the connection is crap. I used nord free trial and worked instantly

There's no need to change your account region or do anything of the sort, just connect your VPN to the required location and redeem the code.

Yea that region page is just for language. I didn't change my region or have an Argentinian address in my account. Just all about using a good vpn. Don't know how tunnel bear don't work as when I used whatsmyip it said I had a Buenos Aires up but still didn't work.

Used nord and bang worked like a charm!

Click the region on the bottom left and select what region you want. On the Xbox site

Then open a new tab and goto redeem.xbox.com and should stay in that region (leave the old tab open)

When I open the new tab (redeem page)it says English us in the bottom corner is that alright? I think that's language but even in the address bar it says GB

I don't know if it matters but I have an Argentina address in my address book on my Microsoft account
You need to have a VPN connected to Argentina and then open a chrome incognito tab then Google redeem Microsoft click on the first link then login to your Microsoft account and then redeem the code

It's so funny I was trying that before then 8 decided to try it over 4g rather than home WiFi, out VPN on went to redeem.microsoft entered to code and it worked 1st time

I can't get mines to work now either! Bought an Argentina code and using tunnel bear ... Worked in the past but some reason won't work today!? (edited)

If your using WiFi and tunnel bear try using mobile network and tunnel bear, that's how mine was sorted and I don't know if that's why but

Like I seen you said previously, mines shows English US in the bottom corner, tried changing and did nothing for me haha... Will let you know if I get it working in the end!

It doesn't matter what region that page is on, it will work regardless. If it doesn't work there is something wrong with your VPN or your browser is leaking your real location. I last redeemed a code on the 24th using Windscribe and it worked fine.

I’m having the same issue.. going on the redeem page automatically changes the region back… incognito mode, tried multiple devices, WiFi connections etc

Did u sort it? I'm having the EXACT same problem as you. Has always worked in the past, but now it just keeps telling me its the wrong location even though i check my ip with whatsmyip and it shows me buenos aires

how did you get a nord vpn trial keeps trying to charge me like £80 for the year?

Doesn't work for me anymore, I normally use PureVPN and it always used to work.

I've always used TunnelBear, being free, it's been great till recent where most regions don't work now.

Saw your comment, downloaded VPN Unlimited to redeem an Argentina Game Code and worked perfectly....
Got 7 days free trial but can see me paying the £8.99 a month. Bargain

I'm having right issues with this today.

tried using VPN Unlimited & Nord VPN and getting:

Only doing it for a mate, wish i hadn't bothered
