sorted byThat's probably what will happen if you eat a Katsu Curry Pot Noodle.
What I learnt:
ASDA: These vouchers won't work, checkout staff tried scanning it, no joy, told me to use self checkout, no joy. I don't even bother trying anymore.
TESCO: Won't work at checkout, will work on self checkout but needs to be authorised. Just tell them how much the coupon is worth (the price of the product) and they'll put it through. NOTE: A lot of Tesco stores have recently had new self checkouts installed with updated software. These vouchers won't work on those, a member of staff actually told me to use an old one.
MORRISONS: Will work at checkout, you just need to find a member of staff who can actually bothered to try scanning it a few times. Again, tell them what the voucher is for and how much to take off. I usually say 'It's for a free xxxx, so you need to take off (price of product).
Others may have had different experiences.
I go to an Asian store when I am in the city and stock up, I can get amazing ramen for similar prices to Pot Noodle

- Cardboard (Shredded)
- Salt
- Tiny dot of cooking oil
They don't even achieve the aim of preventing abuse of promotions since they're too dumb to design out repeat applications.
Great find.
