With respect to everyone posting, I would say - of course this will taste crap. It is a ready meal - they are very rarely tasty certainly not healthy. The basic ingredient Kojac is actually fairly tasty in the various forms I've had it in whenever I'm in Japan. Usually in the jelly form and sometimes in the "shirataki" type noodles which are often added to oden stew. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Konjac That said, it is bound to be minging in a product such as this, and I would suggest that you only need to look at the box to be able tell that. You couldn't pay me to eat something that comes in a box like this.

davebrettuk

Picked up a few of these. Great price, cheers OP.

banjomike

I like pot noodles and always have a stack in the pantry but not the Bombay. Curry is nicer.

AzeemB

someone told me the same. I only tried the curry flavour one and quiet liked it.

banjomike

Does anyone like the Bombay one? To me it just seems to be very hot with not a whole lot of flavour.

Yup. They're advertised as '3 in 1'. So noodles. Noodle soup (the same but with more water) and straight from the pack. I imagine a lot of coke was involved in that marketing meeting.

Master_Yoda

Really??? OMG (lol)

shaysmum

Dammit missed these. Got them last time!

33six

These are nice enough. Definitely not extremely spicy but they taste good. On the back of the packet it also says you can break them up and eat them straight from the packet like crisps. I tried once. I think it was added as an afterthought by the marketing team.

ChambyR33

Not spicy Bit of a let down to be honest, i ended up putting hot sauce in to spice it up

Pfft these have been 5 packs in the past and sometimes 4 if you’re unlucky how 3 is getting voted got is beyond me

simes

These are the spicier type - usually in the world food isle. Maggi noodles are made in different countries and they have different flavours ( even though they may still say curry flavour - they are different ) Poundland, Farmfoods , Home Bargains have the slightly less spicy curry flavour packs of 4 for £1 ( curry is written in orange on these).

33six

As everyone's said, far cheaper in Home Bargains. Just came here to recommend the masala flavour. They are king of the sub 30p noodle market. I have done 20 odd years of taste testing. It's my life's work.

deleted1331216

This isn't a great deal unfortunately these noodles are way cheaper usually.

savvyB

Bit expensive!

omar_quelch

First question for everyone, season during cooking or added at the end. Two add abit of ketchup and and egg at the beginning WOWZERZ

Master_Yoda

Yeh I bought tons of the spicy ones last time from Home Bargains for £8.70 per 30 packs delivered and absolutely love them. Not tried the other flavours yet though. Do they all have the double sachets in them?

uglybob888

My point is that wether this is a good or bad deal there are not too many companies that would deliver this item to your door for this price, possibly no others. And you can’t compare amazon prices with supermarket in-store prices which do not include delivery. Amazon are in this case offering a service as well as the product. So comparing the 2 is pathetic.

Norseg

also i just re read the description Noticed "UKs favourite noodles" theyre the worst instant noodles ever Its all about Nongshim who deems what is "UKs favourite" most sold? Like how Walkers is apparently Britains crisps when theyre bloody awful.. And not even British

Norseg

Its ridiculous pricing though basically makes ir so you arent prime or willing to buy multiple items to the value of at least £20 than its not worth it, how many grannies have Amazon prime or will buy £20+ worth od pot noodles ironic Hotukdeals always adds the shop responsibly whilst Encouraging stockpiling since the deal is bulk buying and a stockpile item How many grannies are eating pot noodles If youre a unhealthy granny eating pot noodles daily it wont be corona what kills you it will be the Pot Noodle only diet

Was in OneBelow this afternoon (most shops are staying open till 4pm now, not sure if this store is the same). Ha, there is no "glitch", these are 3 for £1. There was no shelf label about this when I first purchased these :) Edited the title to reflect this.

louiselouise

OneBelow still has these, at the food section of the store, rather than near the entrance as before (was in there very quickly yesterday). They're nice, and I recommend them, but I ate them on various fast days to fill me up, and I've got a bit sick of them XD

louiselouise

Not sure if it's just my store, but OneBelow seem to be taking a 5p or 6p multibuy discount off these Noodles (only noticed when I went back to buy more tonight)! Which potentially make them even cheaper. Of course it could be a "glitch" in that one store. Yesterday's receipt is a bit crumpled - here's tonight's receipt:

louiselouise

I've never tasted these noodles before - had a try of the Vegetable Laska, it's really nice and the noodles are more substantial than the spidery ones I typically get (eg, Ko-lee noodle). Low calorie too, so would help fill you up on a fast day. Not super-healthy though, as they're so salty.

louiselouise

I also found the very last bottle of Carex in the whole store (abandoned on a random shelf), yay me XD

premierfella

It is their current convenience store attempt. The failed M Locals tried opening new stores from scratch. This time they've gone the route of mainly existing convenience store locations rebranded and refreshed - McColls, petrol station forecourts and the like (I haven't seen one but that sounds to me like smaller average store footprints than the M Locals targeted). Lower risk/lower reward.

moota1514
